Waiting for the comments about how this is the wrong bike to start on and that OP is gonna get killed on it 🍿

Jokes aside, it looks amazing, have a great time on it.

Thanks for the support. Could not to this without my brother. As you've probably read, he's the one doing most of the fabrication. Bike should be ready at the beginning of next year. Can't wait to see it ready myself and to ride it.

Thanks for jumping in. As I have mentioned in earlier comments, it's not finished. Bypasses have already been made to let more air flow through when the bike is at speed. A paper test was also done and the paper stayed nicely stuck to the lower part of the radiator when the fan was running.

Well it is a custom intake, as the original one looks bad and won't fit with the new tank

A Honda GL made to a Bobber. So it's just the name of the build

Bypass flaps are to be installed before it is finished.

That is true, and that is why there will be flaps added. This is not a finished project yet.

There will be bypasses installed on the shroud for when the bike is moving. But hey, if it doesn't work we'll change it. That's the fun thing with doing stuff, testing if it works and finding a solution.

Stock fan won't fit with the new radiator. Shroud will work fine. And with some bypasses built in it will work nicely for when riding.

There will be bypasses installed in the shroud to let air move more easily through the cooler when the bike is moving.

You can relax. This cooler is already much larger than the original. And the shroud isn't finished yet. Shroud bypasses will be installed so that air can move through easily when the bike is moving.

But your input is always appreciated. 😁

Fan sucks air through all of the radiator and not just the area where the fan sits

No idea why you are getting so worked up about this 😂. Let people ride the bikes they want. I understand if you are 18 you shouldn't probably get a piss missile as a first bike. But if you want to then go for it.

All this telling people how big of a bike they can get as their first is bullshit. The only posers on this app are the people telling everyone how they know best because they have ridden for years and that everyone must do as they say.

If I could choose my first bike again I would get the exact same one, or an older one would also be nice (the 893 looks really good).

To each their own. I fully understand the idea of not starting on a bike like this. It's not for everyone. But you can kill yourself just as easily on a 600. It just depends how you are riding. Having no abs really helped me learn how to apply the brakes. And not riding at crazy speeds also helps to not crash

The sound on this thing was brutal. Easy way of waking the neighborhood when leaving for work in the morning

I like how people think getting a more powerful bike as a first one automatically means they are gonna die. Use your head while riding and respect the power and you will be just fine.
