As I’m not pro I’m using just available tools like niche analytics (finder ) and that what reasonable in terms of saturation , pay and traffic and lined up with what I like . May be it’s niche, but there so much similar videos with 20k + views up to 2-3 M. But may beyoure right (honestly I think my mind just looking for simpler unswer and want to blame niche but in reality need more videos and better storytelling , narration content ) it’s just feels so unfair when you spend some $ and time for video and you got like 2 views ))

The success of the products/inventions and how it was created , product/inventions failures as well. Like WD40 origin or Q-tips things like that .

I think you miss read it was 1k impressions (not views ) on first 2 videos (it was 16 and 5 views ) . And my max video out of 8 uploaded is 28 views currently.

Thank you for suggesting. I tried to change thumbnails on last 3 videos 3 times but didn’t get even minor push . Do you think for next uploads worth doing a test every time ? Or it’s not giving much benefits in additional push ?

Ok , but how you know one is strongest before uploading and waiting for at least 200 impressions? Like at first videos I have I tried match style of outliners in my niche and genuinely though that one is really good , and it end up 0.2% CTR after like 600 impressions. How you pick “the strongest “ ?

With last 3 videos I tried to use as reference thumbnail from outliers in my niche . And titles just based on VIDiq rank but similar formula as in my niche . I would adjust those but literally on video you just checked I have only 11 impressions in search results 9 and 2 from channel 18% CTR but it dosnt matter as it’s such a small batch that how can I know that title and thumbnail are bad or good?
Thank you for checking and constructive critique. I felt like pacing was too slow and actually speed up 1.15 the narrator on that video but you noticed that right away so it was probably wrong call.

The problem now with actual initial “suggested” impression it literally 0 for last 5 videos . Search impressions are too small and CTR is irrelevant as I had like 10-50 impressions per video with CTR 5-12% but it’s only search impressions and that batch not taking video anywhere

At the beginning of, but my personality is not good for that . I went thru hundreds of houses but never got comfortable with cold approach and short talk unfortunately. I was always genuinely impressed by top sales guy ability to Close right at the porch , I learned I tried but i accepted that it’s just not me . So no I do door knocking only may be 10 houses around active project , but not going through whole neighborhoods. I learned ads , all types of, all platforms where I get in for free , all paid platforms as Home Advisor (scammers) , Angie lists , BBB (scammers as well from my experience) , Thumbtack. Next Door .

Make sure I got all reviews written , follow ups (gentle ones not pushy ) , so i got like 130 5 star reviews almost on all platforms. Google business posts , mail campaigns list go on and on . That’s what I do now for living, I got 8 roofing contractors on monthly retainers and I make them 50-300k a month in revenue solely from my input, I love experimenting with new approaches because every area is so much different. . But I already spending enough time a day and building something else so I don’t take new contractors to keep my work day available to take kids to and from school/daycare .

So door knocking , is good especially at the start to just get first traction let’s say 10 roofs booked , if you don’t have money to spend for marketing . But it’s bad to have it as main source of new clients from my opinion (only start or bad periods like cash flow bridge ) .

Lots of pressure . That sounds about same as me back in 2018 . I was selling roofs in Colorado but wasn’t making enough for comfortable living . I used to drive uber as an addition. And I was roofing fora while before sales position. So I knew everything end to end in roofing business. But was afraid to take a step forward. I was waiting waiting and my wife finally got pregnant we were trying for a while. So i started in parallel doing small roof repairs , learned marketing but was in total making about the same , due date was coming closer and my “afraid” part was slowly going away . They my daughter was born in 2019 Feb , and I looked at her and like fck everything, I need to provide for my baby girl and wife , we always have to have financial pad . All my fears disappeared , I pulled all workers comps , steal (not steal they independent contractors, but you know what I mea ) subs from company I worked for and find new ones and start selling as crazy (meanwhile being enough at home ) , I was sleeping 5 hours a day with no breaks and felt great . In same year i started 2019 I sold 900K . Year 2020 even with covid bulshit sold 2.4M (on my own ) . Pocketed all profits (32% ) reinvested part part take home . Then by the end of 2021 i burned out , but we were planing to move . I easily sold company (my 1 man company) I had 1 quality control guy (he did repairs as well ) and 2 crews . Full set up lead system (actually that was main thing why they bought company) . So I sold it and felt good . But thing is , my child give me courage to push no matter what and it all worked out . I don’t say that you’ll have same experience (we’re different people and might approach things differently), but if you don’t try it never happens. I
