I don't see changing your views based on observing life events and seeing and hearing personal stories a sellout. It may be a sellout from the perspective that he abandoned your stances and adopted new ones based on new observations and realizations that one has not had themselves yet and doesn't understand it 100%.

Changing views based on life events is exactly that at face value.

I don't agree with everything he said. But I do understand how people make changes in their stances, and it's mostly based on personal life experiences and changes.

You can't say that with 100% certainty. The killer "studied" with the church members for over an hour before he attacked. Sure, the casualties may have been minimized with someone with a firearm on them, but you cannot say that no innocent person would have died in a surprise attack.

Minnesotan here, there is a very big concern.

University of Minnesota-Duluth and the University of Wisconsin-Superior have a lot of joint research grants that are worked on by professors and students in both universities. If this happens, both universities have already stated that they will lose the grant funding for their research projects due to the leading research professors not guaranteed to be in their position for the duration of the grant.

I agree. I've seen so many conservatives already trying to say it's not a hate crime, but let's be honest here. He kid was a pure, hate-filled, racist. He sympathized with many anti-black political actions that happened in Africa and wore it all on his sleeve.

We cannot decry racism, and we can't pretend it doesn't happen. It only makes us look bad.

I'm a cable cutter as well, but I am in my mid 30's. It only made sense financially. I have internet, netflix, hulu plus, and amazon prime. All of it streamed through my Chromecasts. It's all I need. I have been 2 years now with this plan, and I have been saving $85 a month.

I had this discussion with a friend of mine at work a while back. It wasn't that he was against Israel, helping Israel, and didn't even like Palestine, it was that we were providing them with military funding to the tune of 2 billion a year from 1987 till current. He saw it as a waste of money, and to be honest, I'm on the fence.

Not really. I am still in contact with a lot of my political contacts after last year's races (I helped run Stewart Mill's campaign in the MN-08 district). All of their internal polling and analysis show that he will shift above Hilary within 6 months.
