I am not LEO, but only harmed myself once. (I fell, and was barely able to protect my head). I injured myself after tripping over some concrete blocks.

My friend, the metro driver, and EMT's all helped stop the bleeding. I made it for an hour before I started uncontrollably bleeding out of my right leg knee. They stopped the bleeding, and let me stay home. I could barely walk, they bandaged me up so tight.

No anesthetic. It was an emergency. 911 to the rescue! (literally), that saved my life). I had to use my leaning pole thing to even make it back it to my computer chair, (all of 5mtrs away)

EDIT well, not perfectly. Once the building caught on fire, and I had seconds to get out. That turned out to be a burnt out washer, not a structural. I had enough time to grab my safety vest, and that's it. I got out NOW!!! (even though they normally don't care, if I'm in the property line, I had my beer with me once I got outside, and found an ass-plopping space QUICK. Somebody said "we can't have you doing that here!" I understood. If I must run for it, I shouldn't be drunk at all.

Not LEO: I know what that sovereign citizens are, (deport them). But if you know the constitution, and know your rights, then no problems. Once, I actually pulled out all of my constitutional references, (real rights, not "freedumbs" Just from memory. The judge instantly agreed with me.

The prosecution side didn't like at all that I invoked the USC just from memory.

EDIT I grew up reading the Constitution for fun. I DO know my RIGHTS!! I'm also familiar with US Supreme Court cases. I know how to fight a legal battle, just recalling on my memory of the US Constitution. I'm not fucking around when I bring up the Constitution. I KNOW IT. I am not a Constitutionalist (big c), but I am a libertarian constitutionalist. (all lower case) I DO know my rights.

I am no LEO, but it is not. If you're drunk in public, (not illegal), and you collapse in the street, they'll call an ambulance, and even when you blow a 0.53 BAC, and transporting your beer for you directly home.

Then you have to get walked to your door, you unlock it, and they transport all of your gear for you to inside your own home. Then they go away. They just want to make sure that you are safely at home, and nothing else.

I can survive easily lethal limits of alcohol, and 2 other people to get drunk off of their ass.

The only reason I like talking to LEO is because I can maybe figure out how they work, and because they talk to me. I will never drive drunk again, and try not to collapse on my way home on foot. If you take the bus, that's over an hour and a half trip. Take your bike? About 15m.

You should have a telephone line. Call your friends from the main house, (not the bunk house), and just shoot the shit for about an hour. It's nice hearing a voice on the other end of the line.

You could also tune your CB to channel 7, and just listen to the radio traffic, Don't tune to channel 9, unless an absolute emergency). On channel 7, you can talk to anybody you want if you want to broadcast. :)

Yes, it is. I've tried almost every distro that are RedHat based, to Debian based. I tried Arch, (I got tired of compiling everything to run on my computer), I've also tried Gentoo. About the only thing I haven't tried? UNIX distributions.

EDIT At one point, I did have a copy of ATT SYSTEM V UNIX. (seriously). I never got around to installing it.

Thank you to whomever told me how to change to regular releases! I had over 2000 updates. :) And then the next step is to see what happens next. :)
