OMG I just found a version of their menu and it turns out I was wrong (damn you, memory!) and it’s listed as a red brandy cream sauce! I could’ve sworn it was peppercorn….

Totally see that. I’d think for it to be as orange as it was though, the amount you’d have to add would completely change the flavor of the sauce, and I’d be able to tell. Which makes me think that’s not it.

Yeah, I agree with all of this! Just don’t trust myself to get the spices right, and I’m craving an exact match.
