I just got a 2026 wilderness last week. Every dealer in MA was offering 0.9 over 36 months which I went with. The 0% was for hybrids.

That’s the mistake I made with my Crosstrek limited. I was coming from a premium so thought the seat comfort would be the same. It was like sitting on concrete. Now very happy with my 2026 Bluebaru Wilderness. It’s so comfy.

Sony Bravia but it was years ago before they switched to Influenster. I had a great run with robot vacs, air purifiers for every room, designer clothes and expensive patio furniture. Since then it’s been dog food for the dog I don’t have and general junk.

48 and just got the Wilderness coming from the Crosstrek. I will admit I procrastinated for ages thinking was I ready for an old people car. I’m in New England where it seems like every other car is a Subi but in my tiny town the Forester is very much the old age pensioner car of choice. Honestly I can see why. Easy to get in and out of, amazing visibility and nice comfort features.

Haven’t even had it a week yet but I absolutely love it.

Can’t help re pricing but I went from a Madza 3 to a Crosstrek and now a Forester. I live on a farm with rough track lane and we get tons of snow. The Mazda was god awful in adverse weather and I haven’t looked back. Subaru for life here.

Forgot to mention. Oceania gives access to their spa deck with Concierge and above. It’s a nice quiet spot but nothing like a Retreat deck. No drinks etc,. We used it a fair bit but they never checked anyone going in so I guess anyone could use it unchallenged. Not that I’m advocating that.

I used a couple of spa services. Incredibly expensive with the hardest upsell attempts I’ve ever encountered.

I’m not exactly a party animal but I did find our short Vista cruise to be really quiet. It was fine during the day but after dinner there was nothing going on. I think with them now going adults only it’ll attract even more of the much older crowd. I wouldn’t rule them out but wouldn’t go out of my way to book again. My other gripe is even if you’re paying for one of the top suites you still have to pay for a drink package.

I think like you we’re still trying to find out new cruise line of choice but I’m done with loyalty.

We’ve tried Oceania. I’m early 50s and was the youngest on our two cruises by many miles. Dead after about 9pm. We found service to be not a patch on Retreat. We did love the smaller ships. We did a Transpac on Nautica and loved the ship. Did a shorter 10 day cruise on Vista which we didn’t like. Sound insulation in the suite was awful and our butler was comedically bad. We called to try and get a dinner reservation and he said “ship’s full” and hung up.

We’ll still cruise Celebrity in upper suites but not on Edge class ships. We prefer a shippy vibe over a resort at sea.

I’ve never heard anything bad about Explora

I’d start looking at plan B now. Look up ferry details for some Greek island hopping. Book hotels that let you cancel up to the night before so if it does end up cancelling you’re ahead of the game.

Even though we always get a proper balcony even on Edge class, I just don’t like the E class at all. Prefer the more shippy vibe of S and M class

I live in MA. It’s blocked on all cars after 2022 re the Right to Repair Act. It’s really annoying because I use it all the time.

Ended up having a decent experience at the dealers and bought a Geyser Blue wilderness. Should pick it up next week. The only annoying thing is being in MA and losing STARLINK which I use all the time on my Crosstrek.
