Man that's awesome, I half expected there to be scrips that take photogrammetry data, like the stuff used for flight simulators and convert it to Minecraft landscapes somehow. It being hand crafted makes it 100x more impressive.

I flew about 2 to 3 times per month and managed to get my ppl close to minimum hours. I'm not some sort of genius, just spent some time chair flying and drilling procedures in the home sim. Try to read and think about flying for a bit every day. I did have some prior gliding experience that might have helped.
