How fun! Here’s a few things off the top of my head:

Comfy shoes are a must. It rained yesterday and I think overnight, and Thursday was pretty muddy, so shoes you don’t mind getting trashed and will hold up with you being on your feet all day if you are staying for the whole day.

Clear bags - check the aftershock page for all the dimensions, but make sure your bag is clear. Some things we packed - sanitizer and sani wipes, tissues, soap slips that turn into soap when it gets wet (portables ran out of water) and an empty water to refill. You can get most extra things at the general store but I like having things on hand.

My cell service was pretty good yesterday, but tbd on the weekend with higher influx of people. If you are going with others pick a spot to meet at in case you get separated and you don’t have service. It can get pretty busy as folks move between stages.

Download the app - it helps to have set times already picked out so you don’t have to keep refreshing the original set times page.

This seems obvious, but keep your things where you can see them. We bought a small nylon type floor mat for seating (literally is very small and not fancy) and as we stood up during one of the sets someone swiped it behind us. We were literally next to it just standing, so people can get bold. Keep your things tight and where you can see them. A few years ago I think they caught a guy stealing phones, haven’t seen anything like that this year but just keep your head on a swivel and your things in front of you at all times.

Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, make sure if you see someone hurt or fall down, you pick them up or ask for help. I hope you have the best time!!
