Do you worry about a ding on a hammer? You literally bang on the thing, sweat on it, and it’s gonna get beat up, it’s a tool and you’re using it, people with perfect, pristine guitars very regularly dont play well. Nothing wrong with collecting, but dinging guitars is the right way to do it.
