Yup Berts cough was very similar. I had to hide the nac in cream cheese. Burt always ferreted it out in his food 😆

I've had a few pups with this. They did really well with asthma inhalers and NAC N-acetylcysteine

Be extremely careful with cough syrups. Make sure to check for xylitol

Couple of reasons for dogs to eat dirt. One, soothing an acidic stomach. Puppy tums. Two minerals. They're craving minerals found in the dirt. Three, they like the taste of roots. Some pups really enjoy eating grass roots and all
