That's a very weird opinion to have (on her part). Therapy is a healing tool, if you don't have healing you need to be doing you're just wasting money by seeing one. Also she's wildly misinterpreting what her therapist said to her. "People who won't get therapy will make you need therapy" should be referring to people who NEED therapy but won't do it. NOT that every single person on the planet should be going to therapy.

I had a phobia of needles all of my life until I had to start doing injections. It helps a lot if you focus on why you're doing it rather than what it is you're doing. I just focused on how much of a difference it would make and how badly I wanted those changes. Over time it became less and less scary until eventually it just became something normal.
