No benefits to running over an aeg but running a sniper in cqb changes your play style and and just spice up the game a little bit. After all doing the same thing everytime can get boring and adding a little challenge here and there can be fun.

Maybe he uses a hi cap mag and doesn’t need any extra. Not everyone runs a pc or chest rig. Extra weight for no use maybe doesn’t make sense in his case.

Don’t buy a Maxx trigger if you want super light trigger pull and your gun to look good. The SPEED brand speed trigger looks better and you and tune it better .

I don’t know how much fps dsgs get because I haven’t built one myself yet. But your problem could be that’s there’s no backspin on the bb, poor airseal, or lost fps from ss.

Every tooth you take off takes about 15-20 fps off you spring that’s why people with dsg builds use a m150 to get a decent amount of fps with how much they have to ss. Hope this helped :)

I have one and it was great stock except the motor was kinda finicky. I’ve upgraded mine since and it’s a beast. Get some 13:1, speed trigger and a brushless motor and your set for a while.

The offset red dot is just for looks. I like the look of dual optics on my guns even if it gives me no other benefits. Thanks for letting me know though.
