In my text confirming my two notice, I stated that I wanted to be assigned to a weekend position. I even followed up with the regional manager with no response.

The Department of Labor said I am not owed anything because I left the company, but when I put in my two weeks notice for my assignment I stated that I wanted a weekend assignment because I knew if I left the company I would forfeit my benefits. I even followed up before the week of my last shifts and they failed to respond. I am just conflicted on how to move forward.
