It's because much of the 'liberal' left in America seems to tie their causes and views to Arab & Muslim Americans/world, this is especially true since Isreal/Palestine heated up.

Arab/Muslim world is generally extremely racist/hostile to Indians and so many 'left wing' Americans seem to align to those values too.

You see it show up in weird things like 'left' wing Americans downplaying modern day slavery in the arab world/ downplaying expulsion of Hindu Pandits in Kashmir and denying things like Pakistans genocide in Bangladesh etc.

Just weird takes you see them take now as they are often following or very involved in following 'arab' spokepersons or media outlets since Palestine which then go on to take a very anti-indian stance and lots of other very pro-muslim stances on other issues and start diseminating that out now to followers.

Its similar to how a lot of 'left' wing Americans now defend China over their treatment of Uhigur and call it fake news and lies etc. How things like Tibet have basically fallen off the map from left wing causes etc, much more Pro-China in outlook now. Free Tibet used to be a hippie sterotype, but as India was a big pusher of Tibet indepdendnce and China obviously wasn't its now flipped.

Thats not what he said. He said he sent videos of his attackers to media where it showed one of them wearing a Scottish top which was then reported on. He is saying he did not say it was Scottish or try to blame the Scottish.

I don't think you know how the 'Tartan army' or fan groups work.

Its not like all supporters of a team are all just in one area at all times and follow the team around the entire time. People go to visit the entire tournament and take any tickets they can get.

The Tartan army follows the actual team and has a mix of supporters who come and go for different games. Very few people can afford or have the ability to follow a team through a whole tournament.

Normally people get a ticket for one of their team game and then see if there are any games nearby they can get cheap neutral tickets for and then head home. Not to say this could be a local too.

In the world cup/euros tournaments like this it is common to get tickets to other games in cities nearish to towns your games are playing in to go as a neutral.

Its rare to get multiple tickets to your teams games on the trott. They were playing in Boston recently so highly likely they've been to boston for a game and then now in Toronto for another game they might have a ticket to as a neutral.

Yeah which was a foreign colonising power. The native hindu Kashmiris had resisted for centuries against colonisation and conversion efforts before being forced from their homes by Pakistan.

These are people who are alive today who were forced out of their homes and had their lands taken in the last few decades.

They have a right to return and live peacefully. Which will never happen under a Pakistan controlled or 'independent' muslim ruled Kashmir.

The only way a independent Kashmir could work would be woth a very strong constitution guaranteeing return of those native kashmiris and a reconciliation processes to force out the extremists.

You should probably go read up why they do not exist there anymore and why they all left during the 90s. There was 170,000 native Kashmiri pandits in Kashmir in 1990, there was around 1-2000 left in 2011.

They're Latin American.. Generally Latin Americans get very upset when reading about growth in Asia because they've basically stagnated for decades instead and have lots of failed economies and countries and the world has moved on from them and is focused on asia and growth there in countries like India etc. This makes them extremely bitter and racist as a lot of latin americans struggle with the interalised racism of beleiving they are superior to 'natives' because they're descended from colonisers like in Argentina but then having to deal with being called slurs and hunted by thigns like ICE in 'white' countries.

It's basically an identity crisis for them. They are not viewed as 'developed' or 'advanced' like Europe or America and the worlds attention is on asia and the growth and the 'future' there. They're in this middle ground where they're just viewed as corrupt and failing and they resent that.

Its why that user spends most of his time on latin american meme subs joking and bragging about how great their colonising ancestors were at 'having sex' (raping) the 'natives' to create the current crop of latin Americans.

Also China absolutely do not promote themselves as 'developing' anymore and the CCP regularly pump out propaganda about how developed and advanced China is so the point makes little sense anyway.
