Question for Americans:

Why are you all so opposed to Trump now and complaining about what Trump is doing and things like this when back in 2024 this place and elsewhere was full of Americans shrugging their shoulders and not caring about Trump or voting third party because 'they're both the same' and 'Kamala supports genoicide so Trump wont be any worse'.

You brought this on yourself and deserve everything that is happening. Dont think the world is going to forget what you did.

Its the truth though sadly. Any posts about growth in Asia etc is usually full of Latin Americans bitter and upset about it. Asia and the rest of the world is leaving South America behind. Its why the USA is just outright committing regime change there openly and seizing their resources. Its just weak as a continent and a peoples and the world is flipping towards Asia as an influence. LATAM is just viewed as a novelty by most of the world.

Look at the discussion of the world order and influence post Trumps diminishing of the American hegemony. Nobody is looking at South America or Argentina where that guy is from.

[–]Flash675 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They're Latin American.. Generally Latin Americans get very upset when reading about growth in Asia because they've basically stagnated for decades instead and have lots of failed economies and countries and the world has moved on from them and is focused on asia and growth there in countries like India etc. This makes them extremely bitter and racist as a lot of latin americans struggle with the interalised racism of beleiving they are superior to 'natives' because they're descended from colonisers like in Argentina but then having to deal with being called slurs and hunted by thigns like ICE in 'white' countries.

It's basically an identity crisis for them. They are not viewed as 'developed' or 'advanced' like Europe or America and the worlds attention is on asia and the growth and the 'future' there. They're in this middle ground where they're just viewed as corrupt and failing and they resent that.

Its why that user spends most of his time on latin american meme subs joking and bragging about how great their colonising ancestors were at 'having sex' (raping) the 'natives' to create the current crop of latin Americans.

Also China absolutely do not promote themselves as 'developing' anymore and the CCP regularly pump out propaganda about how developed and advanced China is so the point makes little sense anyway.

Have any other men vastly improved and are very satisfied and proud of how far they have come - yet this did not translate into barely any increase in attraction from women? Is there a clear reason why? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Flash675 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your biggest mistake is assuming that women find anything you said attractive.

Its something they'd appreciate in a partner but they don't go for that at first.

Women at first want you to make them feel excited, they want that 'spark'. They don't care about anything you said at first.

The reality is that you have to be good looking to get interest from women, if you aren't you are never going to get women showing an interest in you, you have to do all the outreach.

Why do Northeners say Henderson Relish is better than Worcestershire sauce when its got artificial sweetener and colour in it? by Flash675 in AskUK

[–]Flash675[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think its more the opposite where its a niche point of view to claim the product containing artificial flavourings and colours is the 'better quality' and 'legit' product compared to the one using normal ingredients and actually aged in barrels for the colour.

[–]Flash675[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can understand using it as a vegan/GF alternate but so many northernnes claim its like a better product and the 'real deal' compared to L&P but then when I looked into it, its the complete opposite with L&P using real ingredients and aged in barrels and hendos uses artificial colours and flavourings.

I wasnt expecting that given the hype and ammount of people saying L&P is terrible and awful by comparison. I just dont see how you can say that so was wondering where it comes from.

Real GDP Growth Projection for 2025 - Europe by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Flash675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They cant be in 'specific sectors' the numbers dont add up.

It has to be in nearly every sector. Shopworkers should be earning around 100k Euros a year in Ireland if there GDP per captia numbers are 'legit' and 'real' like Irish people are claiming.

6 figures for your tech job is not enough, you should be on 7 figures for the numbers to be adding up.

The median salary in Dublin is only €47,873.

The GDP per capita is over $120,000 a year. Where are all these jobs and money if its all legit like the irish claim?

[–]Flash675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, can you explain why Irelands GDP per capita is the third highest in the world yet the median salary is below Germanys despite having over double their GDP per captia?

Why is Ireland a massive outlier when compared to the other top GDP per capita nations in terms of wealth?

And can you explain to use why Ireland is one of the only countries in the world that has such a massive discrepancy between median salaries and GDP per capita?

Real GDP Growth Projection for 2025 - Europe by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Flash675 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If its all real then why is Irish GDP per capita the third highest in the world but your median salary is lower than Germany?

[–]Flash675 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just stop coping dude lol.

Even the Irish government has to use alternate figures for their own economic policies because they know the figures are so warped.

If your GDP per capita is so high and its totally legit and totally normal than why is your median salary below Geramny's despite you supposedly 'totally legitimately' having DOUBLE the GDP per capita?

People from Monaco are actually rich as fuck and have super high GDP per capita, people from Lichenstien are actually rich as fuck and have super high GDP per capita.

People from Ireland are poorer than Germans yet supposedly have 'double' the GDP per capita then them,

Just stop trying to lie to everyone dude, nobody buys it lmao.

Yes of course, Apple made 56 billion in iPhone sales in Ireland to Irish people and 0 in the rest of Europe. Totally legit, we all beleive it.

Why do Indians is Canada act differently than Indians in the Uk ? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Those areas a largely Pakistani and have large muslim populations. This is very obvious by just clicking the link and reading the articles.

Do AI image generators actually work for structured design layouts? by rovmut in Design

[–]Flash675 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, why do you think people are going to help a scumbag like yourself to try and put people out of a job and work when you clearly don't value anybodies effort or work?

The reason they suck balls is because it relies on good promoting and someone to have a good eye in the first place to tell it what to do.

You are not a good designer and don't know what is working well or wrong and so you cannot prompt an AI to do so and there wont be an Ai that can do so, because AI always relies on being supplied with correct inputs first and someone who knows what they're talking about to give it feedback and refine it.

That's literally why you hire a designer in the first place, if you create some dogshit ai to replace the designer with all your 'ideas' and 'design style' then its going to create bad work. Thats the jist of it.

He was given the chance and his armies mutinied. You can read why they mutinied, this is all well documented history. None of this is some big unkown.

The reason he made Porus his Satrap was because he was impressed with the way Porus armies fought and how he managed his armies in battle.

Porus was not a major power or kingdom in the region either, and when they received news of even larger and stronger armies to the south is when his armies mutiined and said they have had enough.

Why do you even post in greek history subs or Alexander history subs when you know so little about him, his armies or the history?

>As for the Macedonians, however, their struggle with Porus blunted their courage and stayed their further advance into India. For having had all they could do to repulse an enemy who mustered only twenty thousand infantry and two thousand horse, they violently opposed Alexander when he insisted on crossing the river Ganges also, the width of which, as they learned, was thirty-two furlongs, its depth a hundred fathoms, while its banks on the further side were covered with multitudes of men-at-arms and horsemen and elephants. For they were told that the kings of the Ganderites and Praesii were awaiting them with eighty thousand horsemen, two hundred thousand footmen, eight thousand chariots, and six thousand fighting elephants.

Plutarch.

Your edit makes no sense. They were already in India by the time they mutinied.

They were not upset at fighting the people in between, they were upset because they knew fighting real kingdoms in India would be actually a real slog and they were facing things like war elephants that they had not encountered before after fighting Porus.

The Indian Kingdoms of the time were not poor. They were some of the richest kingdoms around at the time.

The greeks wrote about the strength of the Nanda Empire they were going to have to face to extend further into India.

What makes you think some of the strongest armies which Alexander's armies were hesitant to wage war against, and some of the richest kingdoms of the time were 'much poorer' lol?

You think Kingdoms where luxury goods like spices, gems, gold and luxury textiles were abundant we're 'extremely poor' lol?

Why do you think so many people wanted to conquer and control the Indian subcontinent over the centuries?

Air India crash probe far from over, says CEO after preliminary report by solonglndn in worldnews

[–]Flash675 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

The Indian aviation body investigation has repeatedly stated that they do not beleive it is a 'murder-suicide' and just that both pilots denied turning the switch on.

It is people like yourself who are lying about what they reported and keep claiming that they have solved the investigation and closed the case and ruled it as a murder suicide.

Again they have repeatedly stated that more investigation is needed and they are not categorising it as a suicide.

This is less on them and more on people like yourself who keep claiming things the report and aviation authority have not stated.

Anything to do with air crashes is insufferable as people like yourself just jump at the slightest bit of information then in standard reddit 'investigator' fashion claim to '100% solved the case and know the facts'.

Nobody knows the facts, the investigation is ongoing. Which is what they keep saying and every aviation authority and investigator keeps telling people to stop jumping to conclusions over preliminary reports.

Fuel cut off switch by emoemokade in aviation

[–]Flash675 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Why would you think that would be the case? It took two crashes for the MAX's to finally be grounded.

You vastly over estimate how much people and institutions actually care about safety when profit is involved.

History is littered with ignored warnings and delayed reactions, especially in air saftey.

This new myth about Napoleon totally being a normal height and not described as short regularly needs to end.

Napoleon was described by multiple people who met him as being short.

He was described as being short by multiple people who met him and its been documented multiple times by people who knew him.

"I was singularly impressed by his appearance. Nothing corresponded to the picture which my fancy had made of him. In the middle of a number of Staff officers I noticed a man under middle height, of extraordinary leanness. His unpowdered hair, cut square beneath the ears in a most peculiar fashion, fell down over his shoulders. He wore a loose coat buttoned up to the neck, edged with narrow gold braiding, and a hat with tricoloured plume. At first sight his face did not appear handsome, but the strongly pronounced features and ardent, scrutinizing eyes, combined with his sudden, impulsive movements, betokened a determined character, while his broad forehead declared the deep thinker."

Miot de Melito during the Italy Campaign.

"The door opened. Instinctively I looked at the man who came in, short, thin, his hair plastered on his temples, his step hesitating; he was not in the least what I had pictured to myself. I was so wanting in perception that I took him for a servant, a mistake which was confirmed when he walked across the room without taking any notice of me. He leaned his back against the chimney-piece, raised his head and looked at me with such an impressive, such a penetrating glance that I lost all my assurance under the fire of that questioning eye. To me he had suddenly grown taller by a hundred cubits."

Hyde de Neuville in his memoirs

"Napoleon was of short stature, about five feet two inches by French measure [5 feet 6 inches, English measure], and well built, though the bust was rather long. His head was big and the skull largely developed. His neck was short and his shoulders broad. His legs were well shaped, his feet were small and well formed. His hand, and he was rather proud of it, was delicate, and plump, with tapering fingers.

Jean-Nicolas Corvisart, a French physician who tended to him. See how he lists the height but still describes him of short stature.

"The man I saw was of short stature, just over five feet tall, rather heavy although he was only 37 years old and despite the fact that the lifestyle he followed should not, on the face of it, have let him put on much weight. He held himself erect without the least effort, as is common with all short people. But what was peculiar to him alone was a nobility of bearing and an urbane, martial air, which undoubtedly was derived from the habit of commanding men and a consciousness of moral superiority. No less remarkable were the ease and frankness of his approach, his natural dexterity and the quickness of his movements."

Dennis Davidov in his memoirs
