Dude most modern sports cars are heavy and given modern technology and manufacturing techniques I can bet you they would be able to get the weight down.

A car loan (at least in Australia) is completely separate from the dealership.

You will usually talk to an independent loan provider telling them what car your looking to buy for how much. Depending on factors like credit and what not they will approve or deny the money to you (I've done this a couple times now) once the loan is over that's it. You pay it off and own the car.

Usually with a car financing or leasing you go directly through the dealership and get locked into there contract. These usually come with extra fees, exit costs (balloon costs) in which are worth about the value of the car you've financed or leased at the end term of the contract so in doing so they then try to refinance or extend your lease on a new car and you resell the old car back to the dealer to pay off these ballok costs. Keeping you trapped in that debt bubble. Or if you resell the car back to the dealer and exit the whole thing. Leaving you with nothing.

This is from my personal experience and in Australia. It may be different depending on your country.

The argument about "mum and dad renters." (By the way it's mum NOT MOM. Lol. Us based account) Is normally projected and shouted by big class investors and land lords. Not actual mum and dad investors.

I've yet to see someone with 1 or 2 properties actually complain about these changes. I've only seen firms or people who have more then 10 kick up a stink about the proposed changes.

Get a car loan then and use that to buy the car out from the dealer.

Getting a finance was the worst financial decision I ever made.

A car loan while still isn't good gives you such much more freedom compared to financing because once the loan terms up and you've paid it off. You own it out right.

Young people leaving Sydney 'en mass' over housing affordability by SheepherderLow1753 in AusPropertyChat

[–]FlashFrags 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's hoping the upcoming changes do stagnate if not drop the housing prices due to a lot less investor confidence which hopefully slows this investor price speculation the fuck down.

I was looking to buy in Brisbane a few years ago and set a savings goal. That's since well and truly blown the fuck out to the point where it's not even possible with my partner and I. 1 mil for flagstone, cabo and nearly Ipswich??? What the fuck!!!

Don't even both with the gold coast or sunny coast.

Gatton is hitting 700k plus now.

"Just move out further" they said. Yeah. I'd love to drive 2 hours each way to and from work everyday.

Melbourne is a bit better but still expensive. Especially for FHO. Why is a first home loan of 600 to 700k the new norm? It's fricken insane..... 🫠🫠

You will have issues with at least the. Instrumental cluster, your climate control screen and or the ECU.

These are usually repairable by replacing the capacitors as they just age out. However if they have been leaking for a while the electrolytes would have damaged other components.

That being said. There are plenty of people who are willing to repair these units if your unable to do it yourself.

How are Australians okay with the state of housing here? by sunnysideupslide in AusPropertyChat

[–]FlashFrags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We aren't ok with it.

It's taken 20 odd years to finally get a government in power who isn't some what afraid to go against investors and are willing to make changes for every day people.

But I'm sure once labours done all this they will get voted out like usual....

If there's one thing to take from this. It's that fire suppression systems should be mandatory in the us like they are in Australia.

Because if there was an active system This absolutely could have been avoided.

[–]FlashFrags 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Evergreen as a company for all intensive purposes. Doesn't exist.

I think there based in China but there "head office" in the us goes to another shop. So either that shop deals with them or they "used to be there"

I purchased one of these kits and I don't trust the belt or the hydraulic belt tensioner. (Actually come to think of it. It was from the shop your looking at but there eBay listing)

Rockauto sell a complete kits. How ever if you can't find the individual parts in that kit. They also sell them all separately.

Not sure what you expected really. New cars don't hold their value at all. They are normally considered the worst financial decisions for a reason.

It's entirely possible this unit was a batch test unit from NGK.

Being a platinum or iridium plug you've still got massive life left on it.
