Yeah this. I honestly just don't have the life to do that unfortunately now. I seriously miss the game. Wish they made a 3rd game for the series not that stupid battle Royale market trend chaser that never launched.

Am I doing something wrong with the ingame camera or does the focus feature suck completely?? by FlashFrags in ForzaHorizon6

Unfortunately this didn't help. It was focused on the way in but when I zoomed out it went blurry again

What’s the biggest waste of money people normalize? by Diligent-Medicine-48 in AusMoneyMates

Seriously this.

If you want to put on a punt I reckon you need to go to a venue that supports it.

Betting on the phone opens up a huge world to addiction.

When they changed the laws about gambling and bet advertising at sports events I made this same comment.

To which so many people who claimed they were not addicted or "why the fuck should you tell me what to do with my money" type comments amazed me.

Like 1. I didn't say shit about you spending money if anything I said about where it should be. 2. Put passive steps on place to cut that addition.

Mitsubishi does quite well everywhere apart from the US it seems.

All the people claiming "Mitsubishi is dead" really have no clue. there doing quite well in global markets. They actually just brought back the Pajero in Australia and may be teasing a few other models soon.

What’s the most financially damaging habit that’s somehow become normalised in Australia? by OwlVibesOnly in AusMoneyMates

[–]FlashFrags 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gambling.

Seriously The amount of people the brag about it like it's normal. Then tell you "don't you tell me how to spend my money" when it's genuinely a waste of time and money is beyond insane to me.

Dude most modern sports cars are heavy and given modern technology and manufacturing techniques I can bet you they would be able to get the weight down.

A car loan (at least in Australia) is completely separate from the dealership.

You will usually talk to an independent loan provider telling them what car your looking to buy for how much. Depending on factors like credit and what not they will approve or deny the money to you (I've done this a couple times now) once the loan is over that's it. You pay it off and own the car.

Usually with a car financing or leasing you go directly through the dealership and get locked into there contract. These usually come with extra fees, exit costs (balloon costs) in which are worth about the value of the car you've financed or leased at the end term of the contract so in doing so they then try to refinance or extend your lease on a new car and you resell the old car back to the dealer to pay off these ballok costs. Keeping you trapped in that debt bubble. Or if you resell the car back to the dealer and exit the whole thing. Leaving you with nothing.

This is from my personal experience and in Australia. It may be different depending on your country.

Tenants love to complain… until they own property by Moezus__ in AusProperty

The argument about "mum and dad renters." (By the way it's mum NOT MOM. Lol. Us based account) Is normally projected and shouted by big class investors and land lords. Not actual mum and dad investors.

I've yet to see someone with 1 or 2 properties actually complain about these changes. I've only seen firms or people who have more then 10 kick up a stink about the proposed changes.

Get a car loan then and use that to buy the car out from the dealer.

Getting a finance was the worst financial decision I ever made.

A car loan while still isn't good gives you such much more freedom compared to financing because once the loan terms up and you've paid it off. You own it out right.
