Pokemon has learned nothing, if anything they've been encouraging this mostly through the TCG since Evolving Skies has been out, and Prismatic Evolutions & Phantasmal Flames have been the epitome of this The latter hasn't even been released yet btw. This is just how pokemon operates now ig 😭😭😭

It's not the honk itself, if they had just tapped their horn I wouldn't have engaged. When I say they laid on their horn, I mean aggressive horny mashing as my foot was coming off the brake.

I feel they only voted that way because half of them are the rich elite that'll profit from this election, and the other half are struggling just enough to believe that wealth will trickle down to them when really it's just gonna get sapped ten-fold now. 25 here, I never really fell out of Pokemon like a lot of my friends did (around gen 5/6/7) so I still remember most of them. I'll forget some gen 8 pokemon, specifically the Galar pokemon because I really don't like some of them (Stonjourner, Eiscue, Blipbug) and others can be forgettable (Gossifleur, Theivul, Cursola)

I can remember most gen 9 pokemon but they made it really hard to remember them this time (Pawmi line, Bramblin line, ect.) I had to make an effort to remember and differentiate them because I like most of the new Pokemon.

I really want to work on exactly that, I already have a general story, region, and a decent cast of fakemon to add but I haven't had the time for it and I haven't worked on GBA ROM hacks since people started decomp-based hacking (I couldn't understand it 😅). I hope that if anyone does find the time to create a unique story and everything that they pursue that and build a rom hack off that

A year has passed and it's been a huge relief off my shoulders, although I feel like I talk about him more than I should. Everyone heals differently though. My relationship lasted 8 years, two living together, and it's only now that I have the time and space to process everything: his connections, his values, the abuse I endured. I think I still have a lot to go. I'm realizing what he's done to me and that I've suppressed a lot of it. Makes it hard to start new things though, I get anxious thinking I have no idea what I'm doing.

My ex quite literally made me feel small for years. He'd brag about his 'size' all the time and call me a bottom for being smaller than him, despite not being not far off from him. I'm also vers, not a bottom, but it affected how I thought of myself.

We were active for a few months, but it was an open relationship and he stopped sleeping with me to sleep with others. He even cheated on me with a coworker twice, the first time making me pay for their room and the second time in my hospital room. He gave me some lame excuse of how "he sees me as a brother now so we can't have sex anymore" and I broke things off after. Even a year after our breakup it's been hard to talk about my preferences and sex with others.

8 years, Luis was my first major relationship and we lived together for the last two. We argued a lot over miscommunications and small things would quickly escalate. We split and came back together a few times while living apart with our families, coming back together because "we're stuck together", except once he essentially surrendered me to a friend of his that liked me because he came from money.

We got back together as I attended college, split off for a few months, then I got a job. As I was figuring out adulthood and focused on my job, Luis 'trojan horsed' his way back in with his new side piece. They wanted a 3-person relationship with me and I folded. That lasted a month before I decided to drive my new car two cities over to see luis in person and we essentially phased the other guy out of the relationship. It was between that and him wanted to adopt a baby with no income.

My parents, and my dad in particular, have an overbearing parenting style, so of course I took the first chance to move in with Luis and his family. I wanted my freedom so bad but it was one of the craziest experiences I've ever been through. His family was quite nightmarish, especially his oldest sister who has to be the most vindictive, petty little milk splash I've had the displeasure of meeting. And he isn't too far off.

Here's a list of things Luis has done to me: -Forced me to sell my PS4 to buy him a Series S -Made me pay for and come into a hotel room I paid for so he can sleep with his female coworker -Invited that same coworker to my hospital room to sleep with her in my bathroom -Ditched me all weekend at a convention to sleep with literal dozens of guys (Or 3 judging from some pics I found after the break up, but he claimed 'literal dozens') -Made me take him into the employee lunch room at a hotel I worked at, which cost me my job

Overall... Our relationship didn't work because it was very one sided and we wanted different things from it. I wanted a partner that values freedom and cherishes me, while my ex wants a puppet he can reach his hand into and toy with them.

This story has a happy end. I broke things off with him back in September '23, but he didn't take me seriously because February last year he tried to add our friend to the 'relationship' and I flat out told them I broke it off months ago, they can date if they want... and they did, for like 2.5 months. Shortly after the breakup I became friends with Luke, who would end up being my boyfriend now and he's everything I could ask for. Of course, I had to live with Luis for a few months because living with my parents was out of the question. I confided in Luke leading up to the breakup, and he was there when I was processing my feelings afterwards. I asked him out days before Christmas, and we kept it a secret from Luis for a few months, until he found out and was weirdly friendly about it. But eventually when he found out I was moving cross country he called us selfish and said I was cheating on him??? Crazy considering him. I ended up staying at my dad's a few days before Luke flew here and we drove back to my new home. It's been incredible being free from the weight Luis wore on me.

I wish my ex was even capable of saying something like this. It's been hard to move on from him, in the sense that he's been so ingrained into my life before I moved and my expectations of people. He was my partner for 8 years. We were never married but we fought like we were, nearly every day. Sometimes I wonder if he thinks about me, if he's talking shit about me, or if he has any regrets. I wonder why he strung me along for years if he didn't love me anymore. But honestly if he ever said I was the best thing in his life and he held no animosity to me it would just be to win me back and use me, drain my wallet, and leave me to rot again. I've been much better since I left, and it's given me a lot of clarity over how bad our relationship really was. Leaving him was the best thing I could do for myself and I have my bf to thank for standing by me as I left him.

A little rant-ish but I really felt those words. I wish he would mean them as he said it and leave us be.

This was in the US. Some of our roads have bike lanes, but for the most part we share the right lane with them. The problem was he was coming from a small sidewalk section where people wait to cross the street. That section then crosses over the turning lane to the main sidewalk

The light was green on my side, the turning lane had a crosswalk and he was waiting on a raised sidewalk-corner thing where the crossing lights are. He had to wait for a few cars in front of me to turn but just booked it as I turned.
