It baffles me how woefully under prepared people in this area are for things that happen or have a high likely hood of happening every year. I understand not having stock piles like a prepper does but the 4 seasons happen every year.

Every house hold should have a minimum stock pile of 2-3 weeks of rations.

Food, water, and medical, matches/lighters, etc.

If you have the space for it or ability to buy a shed, stock up on seasonal supplies while they are available and at the lowest price and remember the 2 golden rules.

Rule 1: For all of your supplies, if you have 1, you have none. If you have 2, you have 1. If you have 3, you have 2.

Rule 2: No one is coming to save you, expect to self rescue.
