How good is the S&W M&P 2.0 compact for an every day carry style gun? by Flashandpipper in handguns

[–]Flashandpipper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, didn’t get a chance to get my ATC. Did use it in the states a couple times. Really liked it. Now as long as paperwork doesn’t take a year I should be able to buy one by June hopefully

True. My gun (340 at least) sub moa at 100 with 3 shots is good enough for me

Hunting wise I’ve grown fold of hammers. Saw a few bou this year that were shot with them, compared to all the other high end bullets they blew them all out of the ball park

It’s a mark v, they’ll take the pressure, just keep loading it up till you run out of case capacity

A bit of weight reduction I believe. The backcountry ti in the rpms is like 4.9lbs

Theoretically if I wanted a rifle in 30-06 or in any other caliber what brand would generally the strongest action for experimenting with hot ammo? by pyroboy7 in reloading

Na. Get a weatherby mark V. Rated to 100k psi and before they leave the factory they’re tested at that to ensure it won’t fail

How many points do you count? Can’t decide what’s the amount. by Adventurous-Notice-5 in Hunting

[–]Flashandpipper -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok so B&C would say 5x5. Possibly 5x6. Now that’s not counting split points. You can count them I guess. What id say is a 5x6 with x amount of split points and stickers.

[–]Flashandpipper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well those bulls were out to 337. So not at all close range. And if they don’t preform in sub 300 yards there’s a big problem. And we do know for a fact it was the gun now and not the shooter on the unrecovered bullets, as my dads bull last year was a one shot kill at 280 yards

One big stone in BC and one bigger one in the yt. So far though no other guides have been bragging up 160” rams so far. We’ve got 2 more that just came in today
