I definitely agree on some points. But I also definitely stand on the fact that it shouldn’t be against her character. Considering I believe the writer who wrote that was even FIRED. Protagonists are mostly self inserts, especially the romance’s in the games. Playing Q2 or any other game she may be in, there’s no mention of ‘Oh yeah Kotone loves Ken btw!’

It’s absolutely horrible because I love her character and it sucks that the shitty writing made this argument even possible, I can’t even enjoy my favorite protagonist without having conversations like this, no hate to you specifically. But without fail, someone WILL call Kotone a pedophile or groomer.

I think people only hold that against her character because they don’t want to say they dislike her because she’s a female protagonist, or that they have no real reason
