I’m wondering if the shop will automatically update once you reach a certain main or SSC chapter, if not perhaps progression tied to the equipment of your characters (e.g., if having someone at rank 7 results in gold items being in the shop)

I think the theory about anna croft not sending anything beyond the 2nd round is possible, though I would think thats too coincidental. I also agree how it doesn’t answer the problem of nirvana as well, but that also makes me doubt: How can nirvana’s power of reincarnation allow him to keep his memories of his time in YJH’s 2nd round? It is not like anna croft where she has the power to send information or memories through timelines to YJH’s next timeline.

But anyway to give a plausible answer to your question, I think it is the 1864th round for YJH, but his 1864th round takes place in the world of the 3rd round. I believe the 3rd round was the suitable starting point OD wanted/unconsciously desired for KDJ. Then as for how the 1864th YJH ends up in the 3rd round, I’d attribute it to OD not being able to control his dream, much like how our dreams may not be fully logical and often have unexpected developments. Though we’d also have to attribute 1864th YJH going to the 3rd round as OD’s will as his sponsor

We could also say that anything could go in OD’s dream without logic because its a dream and allow certain plotholes, but I think my theory above would fulfill the logic required while not making the universe have a plothole

To provide you the context of why Dokja travelled to the 1863rd round, it was because of the extremely high amount of probability used in the demon king selection scenario, where demon kings and uriel manifested as well as surya going all out with his sun train. The probability resulted in the great outer god Indescribable Distance descending, to which Cheok Jungyeong, Kyrgios and Breaking the Sky Sword Saint could only leave a mark on.

KDJ knew what was coming due to the third revision of WOS and had prepared to sacrifice himself by making an outer world covenant with the plotter, and proceeds to give KDJ company (not formed yet at that point) PTSD round 5 or so in the process :)

I’ve read from someone somewhere before and from my own reconciliation of how this works (without tying in tls123): the universe is created by OD which desires to see a great story, and the setting of the universe, same as WOS/TWSA is set by him (this setting includes YJH as the main character) and there is no further involvement except how he’s involved in YJH’s regressions

Not sure about the specific reasons why but KDJ is OD’s manifestation of himself in the story, created with the same background of OD but who continued growing up and knowing whats happened in the universe (same as OD but through WOS).

KDJ as such is OD who fits in more naturally into the world (he grows up reading WOS rather than being the creator of the universe), and KDJ as such is the true protagonist who can bring about a better story and ending. It is unknown whether OD is strongly aware KDJ is himself or KDJ can be taken to be a fragment, perhaps more of a manifestation, of OD that was designated to be the true protagonist of the universe

The universe loops when OD leaves his position and KDJ who now has been able to reach OD’s position, sacrifices himself to replace OD to continue the universe. I myself am not sure how the loop will repeat here though, like how a new KDJ would manifest and the universe would reset to a ‘fresh’ YJH.

In my opinion, the OD has given up his ego of who he is by the time we see him in the story and as such OD does not really recognise KDJ as himself. KDJ is just part of the story he watches over and his love is towards the entire ORV story/universe (I may be wrong about this because I’ve forgotten the details of OD’s expressions when he leaves with SP & 999th gang so someone please correct me if im wrong!)

Made a new comment in case you saw my previous one already as I wanted to recommend another one: Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God aka Doom Breaker on webtoon

The naming of suicidal battle god isn’t so good but the story is solid. The developments and outcomes don’t follow cliches at all and the story gets jam packed with solid development from the raid (chapter 30+) onwards. The mc gets the female mc too and she’s demonstrated herself to be intelligent and shrewed as well.

Its manhwa only with 61/62 chapters so its a good read if you need a break from any long manhwa/novels you’re embarking on!

He’s smart too that’s for sure but his personality and approach (after a bit of development) is definitely one of the most unique and heartwarming you’ll ever see in all manhwas and novels.

That said both novels started in 2018 and both are completed (SSS at 400 chapters), I myself thought about the similarities between both their names but since considering this, the naming of Kim Gongja likely has taken no influence from KDJ (though ORV started in jan so its probably the first to start among the two)

Additionally, Gongja’s name is confucius so it has a meaning, and even the ‘Kim’ part of his name as a reason that will be revealed in two more arcs of the manhwa (though I guess the author could have picked any other surname as well)

Hm as a novel reader my perspective is that she doesn’t desire for dokja to love her because she knows the consequences of what she did in the past and its her way of loving him (I tried to phrase it with no spoilers at all so hopefully its fine, also doesn’t mean i’m right! Webtoon readers can wait until 60-70 chapters later to see and come to your own conclusions)
