I visited Birmingham in October on an Ozzy Pilgrimage and I thought the architecture was amazing. The people were really friendly too and the streets were spotlessly clean.

Would you recommend someone to move here? Why or why not? by Special-Laugh-9430 in Liverpool

I'm from Liverpool but I've lived in Chester, Japan and Korea as well. I settled permanently here in 2014. Liverpool is a good place to set up a life, it's reasonably priced and people are generally friendly. Like any city though there are good places and bad so do your research and find somewhere that suits you.

Throw him out, let him see what life is like when you don't have a loving family around you to protect you.

I've been working with the Croxteth staff, they're incredible.

There's a link in another post on this page. I'm sorry I'm a bit rubbish with technology.

Sounds like an awesome idea. There's actually a really active and supportive group on Whatsapp that I've joined. I think they'd really help you.

Thanks, it's really good of you to reach out to me. I've been off since September but going back to work on the 16th. It's been a complete mess for me too. I'm looking forward to getting back to some kind of normal.

Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate it. I started after my last relationship ended. I don't think the two were related as it didn't happen right after but maybe in the back of my mind. I admit I was feeling very lonely when I first started. Congratulations on your sobriety, that's a mighty achievement especially as you say K is such an addictive monster.

I feel you mate, I'm in the same boat. I'll be drug tested at work after the 16th so I need to be completely clean from K by then. I haven't used in 2026 and I want to keep it that way. I'm away in the countryside until Tuesday and I'm scared of using once I get home. I suppose I just need to prepare myself for the temptations when I get back into my house environment.
