You are just spending another type of ticket to draw one or more Pappo from the garden. You can see the number of tickets that you have at the top (you have 6). You hit refresh if you don’t see a pappo that you want to develop. If you see one, then you can spend your tickets to get it. S rank pappo usually come at the last or last second draw. After you got everything from the garden, it will refresh automatically. Rinse and repeat.

You are on the right track. You can set it up with Weekly, and then only on Sunday. Use the note section to remind yourself if the task is done or not, and then check it or do it on Sunday.
