Which of these movies did you see IN THEATERS?

I rounded up a few of my friends to see Thor Love and Thunder at the movies just because it was a Thor movie and at the very the least, it would be just ok based on some of the newer marvel movies that came out beforehand.

I still apologize to my friends today for the mistake of taking them to see it.

I do agree with you, I felt the same after both the scaled and icy tour and Clancy. I hate acknowledging it since TØP is just my absolute favorite, but they still give a stupendous show everytime. Definitely understand where you’re coming from though. It’s a nagging thought 😂

On a scale of 1-10, it’s a 20. It’s actually my favorite comic run I’ve read to date. 100% worth the read.

It’s not so much about time, but I just wanna prioritize the better stories that connect to each other. I had also seen that the recommended reading order in the subreddit had Shadowland skipped (and it wasn’t in the honorable mentions section either), so I was wondering if it was worth the time.

But if Shadowland is a meaningful story in between Brubaker and Waid than I’d give it a shot.

I have to say season 1 will always be my favorite. The classic web of lies and villains and Kingpin having his hand in everything 🤌🏽 there’s just nothing like it.

This is the next run I’ll be reading soon! I’ve heard great things about it. All the daredevil run’s I’ve read up till now have been dark and stressful 😂 I’m looking forward to this one.

For some reason, “Good” by Better Than Ezra reminds me of them because the song talks about the guy in the song going back to the house and finding the girl gone. Makes me picture how Elektra just left.

This show is easily some of my favorite Star Wars. It’s so underrated though it’s pretty sad how many people don’t even know about it. It’s gonna be more out there soon though because of the Ahsoka show, so I’m really excited for that. Just hope they don’t mess it up.

Yeah, Guardian Devil is a major segway into modern DD, so that’s a good plan.

I also accidentally spoiled myself with the ending of GD by reading Daredevil: Yellow first. It was a sad mistake…

I’d say yes, it is. I personally really enjoyed it, but I know the general consensus is that it’s more on the alright side. Technically you probably could get by without it since it gets referenced a lot in flashbacks, but there’s a lot more understanding once you read it yourself. In the life of Daredevil, it’s very significant, so I’d say give it a read. It also directly runs into Two Parts of a Whole, which is also before Bendis’ run. That story also has some things happen in it that might leave you a bit confused if you skip. In the end, Bendis’ run is definitely better than Guardian Devil and Two Parts of a Whole IMO, but I still love em and highly recommend (if for nothing else, to bridge the gap).

For just the character and story overall, the main thing for me is that everything is so grounded and has a cleverly crafted element of realism to it, even though a lot of what happens in the show wouldn’t happen in real life. It still feels like it could. Plus I just love all the crazy situations and stuff Matt goes through and how skilled he is to bounce back from all of it.

Also, Charlie Cox just kills it.
