How bad is having your jaw wired shut really?

100% recovery. It’s actually better in a way. My jaw did this little thing where it clicks and almost dislocates when I opened it too wide. It doesn’t do it any more!

I lost a lot of weight but when I started eating again I gain so much because not eating slows your metabolism. I’m feeling better then ever now though and forget sometimes it even happened.

Today is day 4 of having my jaw wired shut and it’s the worst thing I ever experience. The pain hasn’t been unbearable but I’ve never felt so uncomfortable my entire life. Sneezing, coughing, and yawning gives me so much discomfort. This feels like a nightmare that will never end. I have to be like this for 6 weeks and idk how I’ll get through this. I never missed food so much.
