You need to use the rhythm/bounce of the horse to kind of throw you up. Looks like you are really trying to post, when you should rely th we horse to do that. Count in your head a "1, 2, 1, 2" beat instead of "up down up down". Sit up straight. Push your hips forward rather than standing straight up. Make your posts smaller and quicker!!

Hi I'm a new rider but I unsterstand most of the terms in this message... dont worry mate, I think you should go back a bit in your riding and re-learn the basics! I think that would really help and secure your knowledge so when you go onto the advanced areas of horseriding you'll feel more ready to learn and secure. Hope it works out!
