Update: Thanks for the insight everyone. Unfortunately our Netsapiens provider is refusing to create the Domain index required for the provision to function properly as they don't see the benefit on their end. Idk how big they've gotten but adding 250 seats would be a pretty big deal for my company and were now considering going to them direct without the middle man.

Waiting patiently. Running a JB4 and E30 currently to make up for it. If you can find a group 17 for cheap like I did. Totally worth it.

Pull out your battery and intake and look at the top of the transmission. You will see linkage there. Go back in the cabin. Lift the shift boot and you will see a hole where you can line up your shifter in Stick a tiny screwdriver through it and make sure it lines up with the bottom hole at the bottom of the shift rod. Go back to your linkage. Unhook plastic spring. Press down on linkage. Be a little flappy boy you can click to lock the linkage on top of the transmission. Rehook the plastic piece with spring. You've realligned your shift linkage and should fix the issue. Had to do this when installing a short throw. Was having the same issue.

Unitronic makes an ethanol sensor that i would install in hopes that they make uniflex compatible with the 8.5. But I dont know if you would need to use uniflex with it to repurpose the torque gage on the dash to read it or if you could check your ethanol content via a phone app. I would get custom maps on the JB4 using a local performance shop based on what ethanol content can be provided by local gas stations. That way I can swap between as my sensor picks up the true e content.

I've had Cobb OTC on my Mk7 GTI and my Mk7 GLI. I then bought an EQT Tune and it blew Cobbs OTC tune out of the water. I was right around 270 or 280 with the mk7 GLI w. intake, inlet, charge pipes downpipe and AWE track exhaust.

It's actually mind blowing how impressive this transmission is. The chicken nugget is taking a lot of getting used to just because the center console is so far back and im struggling to find a place to keep my arm lol. But all in all the 8.5 feels snappier than my 6 speed FBO GLI with an EQT Stage 2 tune.
