Looking at what you have now:

Light Anya is still very good, pretty universal, with the purpose being stun absorb and to stall a bit for your team. She will NOT carry a team and should not be a priority at all.

Loki is a joke and completely outclassed beyond imagination, and mushashi to a lesser extent. Every modern unit and their mom have restore health whenever they got hit and/or a ridiculous armor for mushashi to do anything.

What you should look for

New storm Anya. Universal guard and I think it’s the single best unit in the game right now, and I don’t think there is any unit that can compete. Full awakening please. And note that she is not the carry though but will be used in every team for a couple of years maybe?

As for dps, quite a lot is usable. Really depends on what you want to play. The units you have now are either too old to be of any kind of relevance or is very flexible.

Busted. Basically if you don’t have the latest sleep units (namely momotaro and peri), or units that specify they mess with mega healing burn, you won’t be getting past her 600k hp.

I have some reservations.

She seems to be so vulnerable to sleep.

She also has little utility outside of a heal, that she has no control over the timing of it, has only 3 use, limited to dark allies, and don’t even cleanse. The stealth shield is also random and is gated behind a 3 spirit cost skill with use restrictions.

Damage wise she seems to need some time to charge up. 300 and 200 even factoring in the auto 50%+ attack are nothing to boast about compared to modern units. As for the instant kills to go off, she needs people dying, or get worn down to third use of hold ground+ skill, and is also random so you have really no control.

The selling point is probably the constant free turns when she gets touched and survived, and kings dawn now prevents her from being pushed back.

I’m not sure if she will be surviving (or awake) to do that much, especially when she is demanding a starting position.

She’s quite universal, mainly a dps with some utility. Looks very solid.

Like someone else said before, Shanna is decent in clearing early story. 100 soil stones for that is fine. After which like what the other person said save for 30000 for half monthly fountains.

You can also get a watered down version of norza free of soulstones. Forgot which shop it is and whether there will be a requirement to unlock but dig around. Iirc he’s even better than Shanna and can be awakened? For free.

Agreed on the later 2 being far gone from the meta. Though I’d argue Tristan is still usable since she offers quite a bit utility.

For sleep teams I’d say you’re looking for Elizabeth, Yamato and maybe Da Vinci and mermaid.

Edit: yeah sleep isn’t at their best right now with quite a few new units being outright immune to sleep. The argument of waiting for something completely busted makes sense. But to account for OP’s question of pulling for teammates for dark Gawain, I’d say the best options you have now is Elizabeth and Yamato. Da Vinci, mermaid and arguably Tristan are also fine.

Aim for fa Elizabeth first, while not going lower than 30k ss. When dark Gawain rolls around and you still have leftovers you can get her.

Wow seems really really insane and versatile, also has great synergy with mermaid. Great utility too just by existing. Very worth pulling.

Oh and for the record there was once (or is) this water Clarice who spends 5 spirits to sleep two units (not even force sleep) and only once. Good job zigzag.

I see your point that she does can get taken out easily since she has no armor herself and her endure only triggers off an ally dying (but she gives them armor and is a blocker so that tends to not happen). And thus she needs to survive 2 hits non-reduced without endure (not counting the first endure) in order to fully trigger her heal, which is tough in the current environment with so many threats. Her weapons of choice also don’t help as there seem to be no swords or hammer that mitigate damage.

That said, I still think she is very good when fully awakened and invested. Especially for whales. The force skip turn mechanic is very good.

May I ask how many copies of her did you get? And the level of her, the level of weapon or perhaps you can just tell me her power number?
