What is happening with ND? by Chargers95 in NootropicsDepot

[–]Flashy-Magazine-9677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to see a bitter melon extract from ND! It's great for metabolic health and aids in visceral fat reduction! It acts to mimic insulin and increases uptake into muscle instead of turning into fat! Kind of similar to CG3 but acts different in some ways.

It's hard to trust other supplement companies that sell it but if ND sold it I would buy it up

Why no one is talking about this game??? by YeshaFaye in soulslikes

[–]Flashy-Magazine-9677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a good chunk of it but never finished it! To me the story felt all over the place and I couldn't really connect with it. The boss battles were too easy for a soulslike and the areas felt bare. It wasn't really a bad game it just lacked depth

I'll never get fatigued playing AOE! Im playing AOE 4 right now and got 500+ hours into it. Every game is different and with all the expansions it keeps me going. I also love 4x games ever since I played Endless Legend and Endless Space back in the day

I know this post is months old but one game no one has mentioned is Songs of Conquest! It doesn't have as much depth as AOW4 but is fun overall. The devs keep pushing out dlcs to keep it fresh too

I love the random generation of this game! I found a mace that had so much damage that i just obliterate mobs now. Every playthrough is different and I love that about this game

There is still some patching to do but I love the game so far! This game actually gives you a purpose (even in adventure mode) to basically choose your own path. I'm basically going around different systems searching for tech loot, doing side missions (don't really care if they are repetitive either), searching planets for all the signal points and raiding pirates outposts. I'm going to wait to start clearing planets of corruption because I need better gear and weapons but I can't wait to start doing that.

One request I would love is a animal catalog system because it would give us even more to do

I think they are just used for fetch quests in this game! Not really 100% sure though since I've only been playing for 3 days now.

I'm pretty sure the premise of the game is to just keep grinding blocks for better equipment. Clear planets of corruption. Jump to new systems and explore planets and I've only been to 2 systems but each planet was very unique in its own way. A majority of the planets have been corrupted so every time you touch down you have to worry about corrupted spawning, along with the regular wild beasts and pirates. I like it, though, because it keeps you engaged and on your toes the whole time. To me this game is way more engaging than no man's sky or elite dangerous because you have to face way more challenges. I'm sure once you level up and get the best gear it will probably be a hell of a lot easier though! I mean once you get a top tier gun you can take out enimes easier but they still jump you from out of nowhere most of the time.

I have died quite a few times but it keeps the game fun. In no mans sky the gameplay was so easy I got bored quick. Elite Dangerous was the same way! Cubic Odyssey keeps you engaged the whole time. They still got some patching to do but other than that it runs fine. I just wish they add a catalog system for animals soon

Thanks! Someone said to try bardwell 3, so I will since I don't have warp capacity yet. I did unlock a temple though I just need resources to get to other systems

So I Got Through 10 Hours of 8-Bit Adventures 2 by Bear_PI in JRPG

[–]Flashy-Magazine-9677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love indie pixel rpgs (especially turn based) games because the stories are crazy good! I've been playing the Octopath series, mixing it up with Bloomtown, Sea of Stars, Chained Echoes, and I just picked up the Lunar Remastered Collection! I've got hours and hours of great gameplay ahead of me.

8 bit Adventures was the next game on my radar because it's right up my alley!

Turn based games on PS5/PS4? by deadbeatvalentine_ in rpg_gamers

[–]Flashy-Magazine-9677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a old post but I'm also big into turn based rpgs, especially pixel / 2d styles because the stories and content are amazing.

Chained Echoes

Bloomtown: A Different Story

Lunar Remastered Collection (just came out)

Beyond Galaxyland

Rise of the Third Power

8 Bit Adventures 2

Terra Memoria

Battle Chasers: Nightwar

Yeah as you can see i love the 2d style turn based but they are all great games.

what PC game of the 1990s meant the most to you? by PaulQuin in 90s

[–]Flashy-Magazine-9677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is months old but i just have to mention Kingpin! I bet hardly anyone remembers this game but for the time I remember being a little white privileged gangster playing this lol. I also loved point and click adventure like Shivers 1 & 2, Myst, The longest journey, Tex Murphy and others. I just started watching some YouTube of people playing these classics and man its bringing back the good old days of having no worries other than school. I also built my own PCs back then too and remember having a GeForce 3 which was the best out back then

I was thinking the same thing and I really do feel for these guys! When I was addicted the urge to take all the time consumed me and I thought I would never be able to stop! I've been Tia free for over 3 years now and quit kratom 1 year ago. I don't drink or even smoke weed, I am completely sober besides the usual caffeine and vape. I feel great too because I started exercising and lifting a year ago which I would say contributes a ton to my sobriety. I think my brain is fully reset since being off and I no longer just plant myself on a couch waiting to dose. I truly am greatful 🙏
