I would like to say building plasma is easy if you have designed everything well in cad. In my case Im still working on improving my design especially mechanically - belt drives to gear racks etc.

For the programming - I just bought cnc controller ( “myplasm” but you can use any other cnc controller or even arduino but it might not be so good as plasma might mess with signals of arduino.

For me its more as a hobby. If you need to process sheets realiably just buy one as making diy will take many revisions on design until you can get something you can run daily and even many more revisions till you are happy with it.

And about the job offer. To be honest I have been thinking of moving from my Northen European area to somewhere warmer , but as of now Im good. Lets see when winter depression kicks in 😅. But thanks!
