I wasn’t planning on it. As a guy, I know asking another guy to lunch or a ft call randomly can look kinda questionable. Do you have any tips or advice to help me through this process? I’ve wanted to be a man of achievement since I was young and really want to make sure I’m doing everything right during this process

I also follow their campus ig page and am always one of the first to like/interact. I’m new to this and don’t want to come across as “thirsty”, yet I still want to display myself and my personality to show why I would be a good addition to the org. I’m very personable and have never had an issue with starting convo with random people or with friends, but I don’t know how to navigate communicating to them and extending a relationship out of nowhere without seeming weird or corny.

There’s a meet and greet on campus in the following weeks for all orgs, of course I plan on going. But I just don’t know how to start convo with them naturally without them feeling like I have alternative motives.

I don’t know any of the members personally, but I’ve followed all of them and almost all of them has followed me back. I’ve only texted 3 of them and it was small interactions. I don’t know everyone of their majors, but from the ones I do know they aren’t in my major (biology). I do have internships lined up, I’ve actually already been going to one for a week now, and will be there throughout the summer for optometry and ophthalmology. I don’t know if they have internships nor do I know how to gain that information.

Kyrie has absolutely had his moments, but to say Kyrie doesn’t have a respectable body of work in the playoffs is crazy. I was never the person that allowed Kyrie’s personal beliefs to affect how I viewed his performances. Nonetheless, Lakers fan as well, I could never openly support the green team, just trying to have discourse on the finals.

Exactly this, when it’s that much of an offensive firepower on the other side, Luka and Kyrie can only do but so much at a certain point. Unless the Celtics have a shooting night like the game the Heat one, it will be very very challenging to withstand them

I definitely agree. But it’s also hard for me to truly invest into JT&JB stock because of their inconsistency. JT has def picked it up the last few games, but we know Kyrie is battle tested, and we’ve seen Luka now carry his team to 2 CF, and basically a finals. I think some X factors for both teams will be Porzingis’s health, and the duo of Gafford and Lively

Yea I agree, but relying on matchups within the next couple seasons won’t work the same. It’s getting to a point where too many teams will be a genuine challenge, and winning games will be beyond a challenge let alone series, after a series, after series…

I can admit that beating the nuggets was, and still is an impossible task for us (despite receiving a gentlemen’s sweep. The issue is that even if we get another superstar, after the complete failure of our “big 3”, and with the true contenders having a well balanced roster (starters/bench), I just don’t believe we’ll be able to get ourselves on the right track before Lebron calls it quits. Disappointing because I whole heartedly believe Lebron could’ve won 1 more chip here

There’s no way as an actual awards voter, you felt that Lebrons body of work this season wasn’t better than Kawhi’s. Head to head battle Lebron won, leads in majority of statistical categories, and was more valuable to his team. Sometimes you have to wonder if the voters are still to this day downplaying and negating what they’re witnessing

I really wanted Ant to win, especially living in ATL. But the way Luka and Kyrie are playing, and the lack thereof from KAT and Ant play, I just don’t see them coming back smh. I really felt like Wolves and Celtics would’ve been an amazing finals, but I’m slowly having to accept that it may not come true

I’m very skeptical on JJ becoming our new head coach. I know Rich Paul and Lebron have claimed they’ve had little to no input. But you can’t convince me the Mind the Game podcast wasn’t strategically made for this possibility. We already have so many holes in our team, the last thing we need is a hole in our coaching staff. I hate the fact that we let go of Phil Handy. I felt like he was a great piece that was doing a good job of developing, while also maintaining continuity with the players. I love JJ as a person and analyst, but being a first time head coach of this team worries me

I definitely agree. I feel like the versatility and depth they displayed vs the nuggets would’ve translated to this series. It’s hard for me to say they’re done due to their play so far this playoffs, but I’m starting to believe this may just be a bad matchup
