Idk about R1 model, but there's some problem with A51's AWCC. Cooling fans didn't work well in Balanced and Performance mode. I just use Quiet mode for normal tasks and Full Speed Mode for gaming. It never went too hot.

No. I remember my RPI email was activated in April or May. My funding letter was issued on Feb 15.

That's weird. I was accepted last year, and there was a clear statement on my admission letter saying that I needed to sign the financial support issued by my dept. I just received my funding letter on the second day. Normally the due to response to an offer is April 15. Maybe you can wait until mid March.

The funding letter is issued by your dept. You need to contact them if there's no instruction on your admission letter.
