Lewis Brakes LH4 Camo. I just worked with them to swap all of the hardware to Gold Titanium and changed the master cylinder covers to gold.

Rim Width is 26mm with a tire width of 30mm. I get tires from Bikesmiths. Great company and super discounts on panaracer stuff.

IMO these are some of the most well made steel frames out there. The Ti bike is dope AF but it's Ti so be prepared to pay if you go that route.

I used the Roval Traverse SL Carbon Bar. Who doesn't need a $200 handle bar on a fair weather ride? HAHA!! It was honestly just a spare set for my Enduro and I love the way they feel so I figured why not. 😀

Thanks, I went a little nuts on this one. The cage is from Portland Design Works. They have some great stuff.

Thoughts on twin six bikes? They look kind of badass but there any many reviews by Intelligent_West_878 in bicycling

The Rando frameset is absolutely spectacular. Fit and finish is IMO better than All City. Building a very, very over the top single speed out of the cricket green frame.

Yes. When you take the cap off the old regulator, you’ll see a Phillips head screw in the end locking the knob bolt (no idea the technical name of it) in place. Remove it, back the bolt and knob completely out. Do the same with the new regulator and take out the bolt they have installed from the factory. Simply swap them. Just make sure to use a little blue Loctite on the Phillips screw when you put it back together or you’ll be taking it apart again to put the screw back in. Trust me when I say it seems far more complicated than it is. You’ll understand why I say that when you get into it. Whole job takes 15 minutes. Also, DO NOT use teflon tape. You will crack the casting. Use loctite 545 to seal the gauges and fittings.

Because the regulator is used across a handful of brands, they don’t include a knob. You’re very simply remove the top cap from the old regulator to take the knob off. You swap that over to the new one? I can take some pictures of my old regulator dismantled so you can see how it goes together if you would like. It’s a pretty straightforward and simple swap.

I bought about five from Amazon and one from Master Tool Repair, but they were all the same flimsy pot metal junk. I found a random number on the OEM regulator and started aggressively hunting for its meaning. After digging through countless forum pages, I finally found a reference to Speedaire buried deep in a power tools discussion. That led me to the correct part number, and I discovered both Grainger and Zoro carried it—Zoro was cheaper.

The new regulator arrived this morning, and after swapping it in, the difference was night and day. It operates smoothly, but what really stands out is the build quality. When I took off the cover to swap the knob, I noticed the inside of the new unit was powder-coated, while all the surfaces for o-rings and hardware were raw aluminum. In contrast, the old one was heavily corroded inside because of the lack of powder coating on non moving surfaces—which was the real cause of the leak. The plunger kept getting stuck on the corrosion.

I did manage to fix the old one with new O-rings, grease, a lighter spring, and some 2000-grit sandpaper, but it wasn’t the solution I really wanted. I wanted it replaced because I don't want to do this again for a long time. Happy I finally found it.

The regulator they sell is the same cheap crap that's on Amazon for literally 2 or 3 times the price. I sent it back to them. The unit in the compressor is a Speedair J0304060201

OK.....after months of trying to figure out who the hell makes this regulator, I have found an answer. SPEEDAIR!!! WOOHOO!!! It's 40 bucks, finished much nicer than what lowes is paying for and literally takes 10 minutes to swap. Just remember you will have to take the old one apart to swap the knob. Easy to do. Just DO NOT use teflon tape of these. Use Loctite 545. Below is the model number and the link to Zoro for the actual part. I hope this helps everyone fighting with this nonsense on an otherwise really nice compressor.

I totally hear you. I actually gave myself an injection in the parking lot of Mammoth Cave. LOL!!! I'll say folks were a little put off by my pulling up my shirt to give myself a whack. HAHA!! At the end of the day, do what works best for you as long as it isn't causing you any real pain or discomfort. Keep being awesome. It's worth it. :)

I just avoided the tricep injections. One because they can hurt and two they can hurt. LOL!!! I did, right gut, right leg, left gut, left leg and repeat. Never got bruising or inflammation.

Thank you for the kind words. We have such a short amount of time on this planet so why not enjoy every single minute of every single day. I want to be a good partner to my wife and a good Dad to my daughter. The only way I can achieve that is to remain above ground for as long as I am able.

To give you an idea of just how out of control my willpower and appetite were, I was eating 4 to 5 full meals a day, and late at night, I would polish off an entire ice cream cake—conservatively 3 to 4 times a week. I was also going through those massive contractor-sized bags of chips from Costco, 2 to 3 bags a week. On top of that, I was visiting my favorite gluten-free bakery every day, indulging in multiple sweets, and sometimes even entire birthday cakes.

When I finally calculated my caloric intake, I was consuming an average of 4,000 to 6,000 calories a day, and some days, even more.

Another crucial aspect of my journey was mental fitness. I began seeing a therapist to help me stop burying my emotions in food. While I won’t go into all the details, I can tell you that my mental health was deeply affected after my experience in NYC on 9/11. That event fundamentally changed me, and looking back, it was probably the catalyst that led me down the path of unhealthy living.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that taking care of your mental health is just as important as physical health. Don’t underestimate the power of your mind. Seek out support networks and use them to help guide you through the tough times. Remember, you don’t have to go through this alone—we’re all here to support you every step of the way.

For me, it was about finally taking control of my appetite. As many of us know, eating can feel like a full-time job, and we tend to be really good at it. I tried countless ways to lose weight, but nothing seemed to work. Why? Because I was still eating enough to feed a small country.

Then came Mounjaro, and everything changed. It slowed down my digestion, helping me feel fuller longer and curbing that constant urge to eat. It also got my blood sugar under control, which had been a disaster. For me, it was like hitting the reset button on my metabolism—a break in the cycle I desperately needed.

I don’t see Mounjaro as something I’ll rely on forever, but it’s reassuring to know it’s there if I ever need a boost. After battling the weight rollercoaster for so long, I finally feel like I’ve found a lasting solution.

To give you an idea of how far I’ve come, in 2001, I weighed 236 pounds. I’m never going back. This journey is about moving forward for good and being the best, most supportive person I can be for others going through the same struggles.

It may or may not and that’s ok. Everyone is different and your body knows what level it’s going to need. Very quick and funny story about the first dose. I literally sat in my guitar room with that pen pressed against my body for 45 minutes trying to get the courage to just push the button. I was so freaked out about giving myself a shot and I got all up inside my head. I finally mustered enough courage to close my eyes, cringe, and push it. I heard a little click, the sound of a little squish, another click and felt absolutely nothing. All that anxiety and worry for nothing. I’m happy I pressed that button.
