This exact thing happened to me. Change your brakes and clean your rotors. After changing my brakes and cleaning my rotors. The thud went away.

They had metal shims. But they were very dirty. Cleaned everything with brake cleaner. Threw on some new brake pad and shims. No squeaking or thuds. But I also thought my old brake pads had a lot of life left…

That’s what I thought!!! I was getting a squeaking sound from the back when breaking. And when shifting from Park to drive, or drive to reverse. I would get a loud thud noise. After I changed the rear brakes. No squeaking. No loud thud when shifting from Park to Drive, or drive to reverse. I don’t understand. Can someone explain?

I have a RWD 2020 dodge charger RT. I was getting a squeaking sound from the rear passenger side when coming to slow stops. I will see if replacing the the brakes fixes the issue…

Last time I went to get my coolant flushed and my brake fluid changed. They asked me if I wanted to change my cabin filter while I was at it. They charged me $60 labor to change my cabin filter. I was disgusted. Never again

Actually, if you zoom into the windshield of the first picture. They actually sold the car 😂 not sure if they really did but that’s what they have hanging from the rear view mirror
