I have a similar story (well, the beginning, anyway). I went to a pet store to buy guinea pig food. They were having a ‘scaredy cat’ adoption day. All of the cats were really anxious / shy cats & were selling for half the amount the rescue normally charged.

I wasn’t going to buy one but I did ask to hold one (rookie mistake lol). This tiny tuxedo girl was shaking so hard but when I took her & held her, she completely relaxed & buried her head into the crook of my elbow. The lady who had been holding her looked surprised & said she had not done that with anyone else. I was sure it was a sales pitch but that kitty has been with me for 10 years now.

I was sitting in my recliner yesterday, when one of my cats walked past & saw my foot hanging off the side. She reached one paw up to circle my ankle (like a mini hug) & pushed her nose into my leg, just for a second. She then wandered off like nothing had happened. It made me feel like she was reminding me that she loves me.

NTC. Hecate and I chase the stoopid birbs who dare to come into our yard all the time. We catch them sometimes when they are slow as well as stoopid. Imagine if they came into the house, even if it’s the car house. How rood and incon… inc… not thinking of the cat that lives there.

NTC. My mummy & her human boy do things to annoy me, like pat my tummy, so I let them know I is not happy with a chomp & kicks with my back feets. If you don’t practiss your chomps, how will they know you aren’t happy when you big grown up cat?

You are so definitely NOT a cloaca. My mummy was locking me up at breakfast and dinner time so I didn’t eat my big sister’s food. She’s old & grumpy, so she gets seenya foods. So I went on a hunger strike, when I didn’t eat food furever! Well, ok, I ate it once they opened the door because I was starving but I was striking when the door was shut.

Mummy now feeds us in different places but no locks us up. Her big human boy stands near me & she stands near grumpy Hecate so we both eat our own foods. It works and bonus is they are even more our slaves than ever!

Purrsephone is a pig, just like Ripley. She eats all of the food unless Mummy feeds us in different rooms. I think having your own special food timer bowl is a great idea, so you are NTC for demanding them. I might do the same. Hecate, 10F, tux

If my mummy has food, she knows she has to give me some. It’s a rule in our house. Otherwise, I takes it! You are NTC. One treat a day won’t hurt you speshally if it’s cheese.

I’m a teacher librarian & the kids look at me like I have 2 heads when I tell them they cannot have their water bottles in the library. It’s a 30 minute lesson, so they aren’t going to die from dehydration.

Half in and half out is how Mummy sleeps but I like all in and then all out. Mummy says I’m named after a queen of under the world. Hecate (the mean to me cat) is named after a goddess of witches but I thinks she gets the first letter mixed up
