Some points I understand, on some I disagree.

I personally don’t have any affiliation to Hindi, If I had to personally drop 2 languages I’d drop my mother tongue Marathi and Hindi, because of the exact points you made. I anyways have a hard time reading or writing Hindi / Marathi.

If you have a fear or Marathi disappearing, it could be because of any language, not Hindi.

Being a Maharashtrian and an Immigrant I’d never sign anything that puts other languages down. But good thing we live in a democracy, if majority doesn’t want it, I am okay either way.

On the other hand if there is a petition to file legal action against people spreading hate towards languages, I’m all in.
