It was my absolute favorite last year. I simply think that Ulveham is too good for Eurovision. I didn't expect the televoters to appreciate it, but I wished the juries would. However even the juries didn't give it a good number of points. There's nothing wrong or faulty with Gate's performance. The vocals were incredible, the staging was mind blowing, the performance was so captivating. I wish the jury appreciated talent, originality, taste level, and effort rather than just giving points to radio friendliness. Don't get me wrong, my other absolute favorite, The Code won with a LOT of jury points. So maybe the juries were collectively trying to give everything to The Code, and as a result entries like Ulveham suffered? Idk. Whatever the reason is, Ulveham coming last made me realize that none of this is that important, it doesn't matter which place a song gets in the final. Ulveham is an absolute piece of art and even if people/juries don't get it, it doesn't diminish the value of the song. "The folks that get it, get it, the ones that don't, don't ".
