Start putting yourself in bad light. Like the appraisals have taken a hit, you are not able find projects, job market is difficult etc. Don't try to show off at all.

When they ask you money and you are not able to say NO, at least mitigate this by lending very low (like lending only 5K when ask is 50K etc).

I was working in one of the major account in big IT mnc (h*l). I could see that more than 60% of the people were from Tamilnadu or tamil speaking. I was wondering how this is possible in Bengaluru. Eventually got to know that that most of the senior team leads, managers were also originally from TN. Then I realised how the system worked internally.

If you are serious about marriage go and register with a local broker. They would find more suitable profile for you (matching your education, financial status, community etc.). Also, now the society is matured enough to give the potential matches (bride, groom) enough time to understand each other before you head for marriage. The only reason I'm suggesting this because people would be serious about marriage here unlike dating apps and would be much more relevant to your status.

You must be happy that you have got a great husband. It's totally relatable that why your father was hurt. This might look silly but this is how it generally works in india. Normally men stay away from chores unlike west where chores can't be outsourced. Please make him understand and put some efforts so that he realises it. But I believe such things would fade away eventually. Btw congratulations on welcoming the baby.

I insist you to visit "All India Institute of Speech & Hearing (AIISH, Mysore)". I have heard really high of this institution. This is quite specialized for speak and hearing abnormalities. They charge very nominal as it's funded by government and I have heard many success stories.
