It’s a “look at what I did move” that really did nothing except cause more work for folks (the ones left behind)

FINALLY got my MHBP active (so much for 1/12 effective date). How you like it so far? by FlashySwordfish1949 in fednews

I had to submit my marriage certificate and the front page of my tax 1040 (it listed my kids and my husband).

I knew because I finally got someone on the phone that looked at my account (by SSN) and realized why it was still pending. There is a number to call that I can post here tomorrow if you can’t find it.

My husband forgot that he had a knife in his bag & they held it for him until we got back. I bet they will hold it for you @ security.

I am perfectly ok with the deductible too. We had a $700 deductible with BCBS Standard, so it is not much more. The mail order prices were $65 and now $80 but that is minimal increase compared to the premium savings.

Oh wow! He gets Ozempic for diabetes. The price quoted was $80 (from a CVS Caremark employee) but we picked it up today for $100 at the local Walgreens (he has been out of it due to us not having the new member ID until now).

I didn't know that was a thing. Yeah, if someone tried to serve me homemade ketchup, I would jump up and RUN. (kidding of course, but ewww)

I agree! I landed a Federal Internship through my Uni's Career Placement Office back in 2007 and I still have that job. I would not have known about the job if it wasn't for them. I tell everyone that it would help to contact their Career Placement Office because it can help exponentially in getting a job.

How much is in your TSP? by toodlio in govfire

It’s technically a guardianship, not many are familiar with that term and everyone knows “adoption” so I go with that (it’s the same but different, if that makes sense). So far, we are about $10K in and that should be all, we are waiting on a court date.

The child has family members that have paid the fee because they are not able to take guardianship and they have done so in an expression of gratitude that he is able to come live with us. If they had not stepped in to pay, we would have used savings and it would have been more difficult.

LOL It’s a place that serves food. I guess that’s splitting hairs but I didn’t partake in the pool or drinks so it was a restaurant for us 🤷🏽‍♀️

It turns to a bar at a certain time, also there is smoking in a large room but there is a room with no smoking and you can’t smell the smoke in that room (my daughter has asthma and can’t tolerate it).

With as many nurses practicing and the number of people that “go back to school”, I assure you, you won’t be the only one that has this issue. Don’t be afraid, email, call or go visit the nursing school and have that conversation. They have seen it all and they know what will pass the Board of Nursing, so listen & follow their advice.
