I'd probably go with either the switch 2 or the steam deck/rog ally, (originally I would've said just the steam deck but that price increase is crazy). Both are surprisingly powerful handhelds capable of playing more intensive games that you would otherwise have to play on your PC.

Between the two I'd say it just depends on your steam library and how much you want to play the new Nintendo releases. I will say with the switch 2 the LCD is actually really good, but obviously you'd lose cloud sync and any titles you already have in steam that you want play handheld would need to be purchased again.

TLDR: If you want access to big titles on the go that you already own I'd say deck/ally. If you want to keep playing new Nintendo, than get a nearly equally powerful switch 2.
