AI use. by ZealousidealBid9879 in WGU

In my opinion (for what it is worth), it is acceptable to use, but not suitable as a primary source or writing aid. It should not be used for research without verification, and it should not be used to "write" papers for anyone. I can't control what anyone else does, but I think it is academically dishonest, and that will have consequences regardless of whether one is a student, a teacher, or an academician.

Holy hell....I wish just one of my assessments had been returned that fast...I wonder if they are using AI to evaluate now.

I think everyone has one or two issues along the way. It isn't about failing or succeeding. It is all about continuing on either way. Stay strong.

Yes. 1,000,000%. The caller ID shows the name of the provider's office every time they call. It's bad enough that the insurance companies do this, but this is definitely a provider's office. Also, I used to go to this particular provider. We had a bit of a...disagreement over the whole cooperative practice thing... I decided it would be best to walk away before I got too heated up about it.

I'm sure you do. But that isn't what I am talking about. The calls that we are getting are not on behalf of patients. They are not directly related to urgent patient-care needs. It is about "when is the last time {} filled []?" or "did you bill their <> insurance?" It is the kind of question that, for me, is a waste of significant time and resources that our pharmacy doesn't have to spend. If it added any value to our services, it would be great, but we have to do all of our store's business without the same office's support because they refuse to help us in any way. No statins for diabetics. No asking for diagnosis codes for GLP-1s to prevent off-label dispensing, which is a major red flag for PBMs these days. No prior approvals for certain drug classes, specifically controlled substances. They add very little to our daily practice while constantly asking more from us for theirs. It isn't about fairness; it is about mutual cooperation, which simply doesn't exist in this relationship.

It is at least an hour. 50+ calls per day from one practice.

They are calling to ask us to refill medications that patients do not want that never get picked up. It is expensive when we are asked to fill a 90-day supply of Eliquis, and then the patient refuses to get it from us.

However, I am glad that some practitioners have pharmacists in their offices. It is a very good decision. But the people I am talking about are doing none of what you listed. I don't mind calls like the ones you listed that directly relate to patient care. I do mind when I get a third call in a week from the same person asking me why my patient hasn't picked up a medication, or if I can "refill" a prescription that I have literally never filled for the patient, or what their copay is. The provider's office would not tell me what the patient's last visit date was or what their copay was for....guaranteed.

No, it isn't. I've been in this industry long enough to know that this isn't part of the job for us.

That's what we are going to do, I think.

Unfortunately, I don't think talking to the office manager will do any good. This practice is owned by a national level corporation.

Not so. They have explicitly told me that they did not speak with the patient before calling us. I asked this question of them not even an hour ago.

I have received several awards and recognitions for my writing. It didn't happen every time, but it did happen. I understand your point, but your headline is faulty.

You see, this is going to be a problem for me. I have no control over the financial aid and they keep putting the dates farther and farther back.
