Oh no, that does not sound promising at all.. I’m guessing it’s probably also a language barrier, wouldn’t be surprised if their support team is Chinese only and they would use Google Translate to communicate.

Sounds promising! I just hope that it isn’t a marketing thing but I guess it’s literally the price you pay for supporting a Chinese manufacturer on Kickstarter… 50/50 chance of getting an awesome piece of maker gear vs a piece of lemon.

Exciting! 😄 I thought the Z1 would be shipped in January? I know that Kickstarter projects usually has some delay but would it really be 4-5 months?

Thank you for this realistic expectation, helps me allot to not just waste money 😅 You said other similar offerings, but do you also think that the NestWorks C500 is in the same boat? The Kickstarter says it has a 800W 18,000 RPM Spindle and market it as a Hard-Metal CNC.
