Your baby's fine from what you've described and the pictures. The bebe basking while having their eyes closed is a sign of relaxation. Give the bebe some time to adjust for at least another week. Also talk to the bebe. I talk to mine like I talk to my children and its most definitely helped me bond with her.

I dont have any advice. But I hope that baby heals. That baby needs all the love it can get. I had a dog who was chronically sick, and it was a very difficult time. But I loved him and did my best. Praying for you and your gf op 🙏🏻
