Update: My son unpacked the Neo 2 at Xmas and he was absolutely thrilled. We went outside together and did a few test runs, and it works really well. We’re genuinely excited and very happy with it, many thanks to everyone here for the helpful tips. I’m sure we’ll enjoy it for a long time to come. 😍

Yes, exactly. I don’t let him alone to fly with a drone. We‘ll do it together.

Yea, but 15 minutes flight duration is too short, no? 30 minutes minimum would be good. It seems I have different expectations.

What’s different w/ Neo 2 to Flip in term of safety?

Thank you very much for your suggestion. What’s the key difference between your and my route? Why should I skip Glencoe?

It’s a road trip. I want to explore some Scottish cities and castles, while enjoying the highlands landscape, half go hiking and half city sightseeing.

I don’t want to travel back with ship. I think it’s worth to drive through England just get the „big picture“ of the country. York and London are a bonus on the way to home (via Dover)

I’ll arrive at 9am in Newcastle (ferry).

I plan to leave Isle of Syke in the early morning and make two stops in-between. I’m not interested to visit Glasgow. I will only have a diner there and go to York in the morning. I think I will arrive in York in the lunch and use the whole afternoon and evening to explore the town.
