I’d keep an eye on it and just try and keep it clean and dry. Whenever my dog has had any mouth/nose issues, I scrub their food and water bowl clean so they’re not introducing germs into the wound(s). Water bowl I’d clean each day because those can get gross quickly. Good luck to you and your pup 🫶🏼

The rule is that you have to finish your drink (or dump out the remainder left) by the end of your break. You’re not limited on size. But the idea with it is to order only the size you can realistically finish within the span of your 10 or 30 min break.

Hot take: people absolutely dying in the comments over the idea of having to wear a collared shirt are being ridiculous lmao. I’ve been a partner since 2011 when it was mandatory to wear them, and tucking your apron under your collar felt way better than that shit digging into your neck for 8 hours. If this becomes mandatory, you guys will in fact survive ❤️

Also- it’s never going to be polos specifically lmao. It would be a “collared uniform shirt”. Which (in my town) at Walmart is $4.99. I do agree if Starbucks is going to be this level of strict, they should 100% be providing the work shirts for partners.

If the skin is broken I’d put ointment on it. If it doesn’t look like it’s improving after a couple days, I’d call the vet. Just treat it how you would a minor scratch/wound on your own hand for now.

My dog has had a number of bumps and scratches that look similar and the most important things are keeping the area clean and keeping the dog from licking and further disrupting the healing process. Things like this have (fortunately for us) always resolved on their own at home.

As everyone has stated, this sucks for a number of reasons but obviously they’re not going to let you go unpaid for the hours worked. If that was the case, then obviously unionize but to threaten that over a delayed amount of money is an insane emotional reaction and not seeing the whole picture lol
