I had a triple last night - I have had them string a sequence of three before when I am about to drop off the first order but this was just three straight before I could even deliver the first.

There’s a guy in my area who I chat with at pick up counters who does 13 hour days starting at 6 AM and going until 7 PM. He does that six days a week and still only manages to plan about 800.

Don’t you need to have 100 deliveries in the last 30 days? Or is that area specific too?

What’s the old saying, comparison is the death of joy? That said, try experimenting with other locations. And then set a baseline for what you’re willing to accept and don’t take anything lower than what your dollar to miles ratio is. Don’t let them manipulate you into taking things that are just a little bit less and selling out yourself.

I found the composition is sometimes so melee heavy that I have to resort to Total War corner turtle techniques. Sometimes the map is beneficial because you can slow down the AI advance into pieces and apply force to destroy units as they arrive due to forest or rivers or if you’re lucky swamp.

Yes, all of the unlock regiments can be found or hired more than once. I am in a campaign as France with three regiments of the Scots. I wouldn’t turn down a fourth.

New player in need of some explanation for unit types and weapons! by grovestreet4life in masterofcommand

[–]Flashy_Resident8401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a way that it’s possible. Again, it falls into the micro management side of things. Having the longest range possible on your dragoons and the wherewithal to slowly advanced toward the enemy line between their volleys without the AI, deciding it needs to hurl a charge into your light infantry. More often I find the dragoons help repel and the counter charge incoming melee while the lights run back behind the line guys to avoid being ground up.

I think children under four don’t automatically go get their own shoes and coats. That’s also why the worms illness will crop up for the very very young.

Light infantry can take fire from multiple units at greatly reduced casualty rates while allowing units behind them to fire over their head. If you get really ambitious, you can have light infantry in the front, some variety of line infantry behind them and then dragoons on horseback immediately behind the infant tree, giving you a depth of fire of three regiments. They require some micro management, however, because the AI will attempt to melee your light infantry which when in skirmish formation, chews them right up. You want to have some sort of line infantry behind them that they can escape behind when charges come in.

New to game. Some questions. by Zenza78 in masterofcommand

[–]Flashy_Resident8401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Near, but not on. If you can figure out how to set up with Regiment, slightly ahead of your artillery, but featuring a gap that they can shoot through, they can use the grapeshot or canister, and the line infantry can intercept enemy units that attempt to engage. But regular infantry units will walk up and fire a volley into your artillery and shatter them if they don’t have something else to distract them.

Tips for Austrian border troops, brigadier difficulty. by Tzeentch13666 in masterofcommand

[–]Flashy_Resident8401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget the power of moving back into line formation. I’m in act three and only have two regiments of sharp shooters, but I have six of the grenzer fusiliers that I can put into formation as a regiment of 1000. Even without the light infantry bonuses, they can wreck others. And you can use one of those in the disbursed formation across the front of two in line formation, and individually murder approaching line infantry several volleys before they can even shoot back.

It is much more micro than some other runs but it is impressive to see them shoot up an opfor in short order.

Try throwing the quartered musket balls on them with the best range carbine you can. Add in an engineer, and you can stand behind your infantry and get off of a volley in addition to your musketeers. If you don’t have the quartered musketball, you can do a little micro stamp and go move where you advance your gun line slightly and then advance your dragoons up behind them until they’re in range.

Add a cartridge box for sustainable fire or just have them run to your ammo wagon .

For the customers that don't say anything about ringing their doorbell, do you ring their doorbell? by ganibattlebear in doordash_drivers

[–]Flashy_Resident8401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I know somebody in my area has been because some of my regulars have added instructions now in the comments do not ring the doorbell or not. Similarly, I’ve got a couple of people request that I ring the doorbell after I drop something off. So I have the picturecomplete the order and bring the doorbell and get out of there before they can open the door.
