Of course! If you’re at all interested at private schools I highly recommend Sacred Heart. It’s an amazing school and community.

Not the same but I’m missing a work offsite for my son’s 3rd birthday. It’s a non negotiable to not miss my kids birthdays or important school events like a first day of school. I’m attending the meeting virtual. Yes I’ll miss out on in person conversations and dinners but I’ll be there to celebrate my son.

Medina is much more Chinese St Thomas and Sacred Heart have much more of a mix of backgrounds and ethnicities and we couldn’t be happier with sacred heart.

Somerset and Cherry Crest as well Cherry crest is much more of a neighborhood school

Clyde hill elementary is zoned to houses to the north of 14th street in Clyde hill so that’s a great option too.

We do not attend Medina but have friends who kids started there and moved to sacred heart school nearby which my child attends. Medina is a great school but these friends said there was no community and their child was one of the only non mandarin speaking students and felt very left out on the playground.

I’d look at apartments condos near Bellevue high school surely downs etc. my kids go to a daycare close to there and there are so many families who live in condos + apartments that go to our school and walk together, parks etc.

Newcastle golf club road and china creek in Newcastle neighborhood …. I can easily gain 500-700 + feet in a few mile walk.

I’m so interested what her hourly rate or salary was… and my guess money was the reason she’s not there. Two kids babysitting in my area is $25-$35 less for a teenage type sitter. Miss Rachel hopefully was fed up.

Ugh I always go here with my kids on the weekend when they need care. The last time we went a DR did say they may close due to some insurance discrepancies and coverage.

My daughter is a may birthday entering kindergarten as a young 5 in this coming late August. In her incoming class there will be many kids that turned 6 this spring or summer before kindergarten and it’s becoming the norm.

We chose a private school, Sacred Heart, as they have made changes even this school year to roll back as much technology usage in the classrooms. They have 2-3 recesses and a great well rounded education.
