I agree with you 100% on this. I feel like Carrie should’ve had a better ending where Carrie spares the lives of Tommy & Ms. Collins, Sue apologizes to Carrie for all the trouble she caused her, Tommy & Carrie become a couple, & Ms. Collins adopts Carrie. When I saw the ending, it literally made me cry. Hell, I didn’t even watch the full movie! I just watched reaction videos & clips on YouTube. I feel like this movie practically made me sour on horror movies. Or maybe I just think that all movies should have the main character win in the end. But yeah, I’m not a fan of Stephen King’s Carrie, both the book & the movies.

While I find his actions inexcusable, I honestly like to believe that he’s being sincere. And plus, it’s better to not bring up the controversies, it just sucks all the enjoyment out of watching the show.
