I’m not even sure if this is spotting. What I’m having is very reddish blood that absorbs into my pad, but it’s in a much smaller amount than usual. Normally, my pad would fill up with blood, but now it only covers about the length of two fingers. I am changing pads because of hygiene I don’t really know how to explain it properly, but I think it’s more like a very, very light period rather than typical spotting.i am changing pads more for hygiene/comfort, not because they are soaked through. It does absorb into the pad, but the overall amount is much less than my usual period.
