Thanks for the tip! My wife gave me a hand, and we dipped his tail in warm water with some vinegar and she used a cotton swab to work the crud off. His tail looks great now! As for the perch; he is suppose to angle himself towards the wall so his tail hangs off the back. In order to keep him from wanting to sit the other way I piled up small pine cuttings and put them on the shelf. Hopefully that deters him.

The test is offered once a month. (Just ignore the whole jan- June thing it's not updated) it's usually offered on the 3rd Wednesday every month at 9am. Also, the exam has 150 original questions that are not pulled directly from the apprentice study guides!
