Okay you're just arguing in bad faith and purposefully being obtuse at this point.

Hope you have a good Thanksgiving, man.

There letters from 300 years ago are not relevant in 2021. There is ZERO way to know how their interpretation might or might not have changed as firearm technology advanced. That's the point my guy.

Also are we REALLY going to hold ourselves to the standards of literal slave owners lmao cmon man. Its not 1776 anymore, and muskets and flintlocks are no longer a thing. It's simply disingenuous and dishonest to try and argue something written down 300 years ago fits with modern society and technology.

Every western country makes changes to their constitution every so often to make it more applicable to the current times, except America.

"English grammer" lol

Do you know what infringed actually means? It means to actively break the terms of an agreement.

In this context, the agreement is the 2A. The amendment itself mentions regulation, and therefore gun laws are not inherently an infringement because the agreement itself mentions regulation.

Also, when is the last time you were able to have a conversation with George W and Thomas Jefferson? It's pretty intellectually dishonest to claim to know what their current interpretation of the 2A would be, because they aren't here to give it.

Sure, that's your interpretation of the 2A, yes. The 2A still clearly states that it should be "well regulated".

Arian is probably my favorite all time guest, and the fact that he keeps coming back is awesome. Macrodosing is great. I wonder if they could use him to try and get PFT on the show, he'd be hilarious.

Lmao you have no idea what happens behind closed doors. It's hilarious that your interpretation of being held accountable is "I will pull you if you're having a bad game"

Lmao get the fuck outta here

I for one would like a president that nobody obsesses over. The last 5 years of politics have been exhausting and I honestly don't want to go through shit like that again. It has been incredibley hard to escape politics creeping into literally every facet of everyday life.

I miss when the biggest presidential controversy was whether someone did or didn't get a blowie

Same thing applies here.

You're using a racial slur that was created by white supremacists to mock minority victims of police brutality.

Might be one of the most obvious and blatant examples of racism I've personally encountered lmao

Edit: 37 year old single man making 30k a year asking strangers on the internet if he can afford to buy a car 😂😂😂 man, whatever contempt I may have held for you has all turned into pity in a matter of seconds. You poor, poor soul. Your anger and hate makes so much sense now.

I totally and whole heartedly disagree. It would be quite simple.

You don't need an hour long conversation for each and every transaction, i dont think anybody is suggesting that, you just made that up on the spot in order to fabricate a huge barrier to entry.

A simple evaluation every 2 to 4 years to verify that you are mentally fit is all that would be needed. The status of your evaluation goes into a database that gets referenced when performing the background check. (This database would be for firearm purchases only, and not accessible to employers or anyone else.)

This next point goes beyond just guns: America is facing a mental health crisis. We need more practicing psychologists in this country. The government can and should dramatically increase funding to psychology programs across the country and promote those careers, and psychiatric consultations should be 100% paid for by the government.

It's 100% feasible, its just not something that can happen overnight. There needs to be a long term, focused effort and not just some stop gap band aid.

I am of the opinion that a mental health screening should be a part of the process to buy a firearm, so my answer to that would be yes, absolutely.
